Thanks! We'll notify you as soon as we add new styles for Ariat.
In 1990, Ariat International co-founders Beth Cross and Pam Parker set out to create a new company and a new way of thinking about footwear for riders. They realized that traditional English and Western riding boots were stiff, heavy and hard on the feet — not very well suited for riding. Both riders with backgrounds in the athletic shoe industry, they realized the unique needs of equestrians — both in the saddle and on the ground — and the performance-enhancing benefits that could be brought to riding boots to give these athletes an edge.

So they assembled a group of top footwear engineers and designers, and set them on the task of creating the world's most technically innovative performance riding boots. They started by re-designing the outsole, rethinking the arch support system and finally taking a hard look at the suitability of "traditional" last shape and fit. While they were building the technology platform for Ariat boots, they were also talking to hundreds of top riders who helped in the design and development of the final product.

In 1993, Ariat shipped their first pair of boots, and today Ariat is the world leader in performance equestrian footwear, offering a full range of English and Western riding boots, work boots and casual footwear — plus new lines of performance apparel and accessories to fully outfit today´s equine athletes and equestrian-inspired lifestyle enthusiasts.

Whether you are a professional equestrian athlete or a novice rider, you will find an Ariat boot with the performance technology that is perfect for you. Ariat boots cushion the foot while stabilizing the heel and arch, dramatically reducing fatigue and stress to the feet, legs and lower back. This amazing technology can also be found in a variety of casual Ariat shoes — providing you with comfortable and stylish alternative for those relaxed, easy-going days.

I'm really pleased with these boots. I'm not a cowboy, but have been wanting some understated ropers with a bit of a weathered look. These fit the bill. Sized accurately, and comfortable. The modern formed insole has nice arch support, and the soles are durable and non-slip - to me, much better than a leather sole.

Worst boot I ever owned. Harder than crap to break in and never did fit right even after six months of trying to break them in. Way too narrow and too small for size listed. No stretch and leak water in around sole.

I didn't buy these at Zappos but at a local western shop (and paid more! Should have stuck with Zappos!) Anywho, these are great boots. I love them because they are rugged, well made, fit great and look awesome. Oh, and they are the most comfortable boots I have owned. I've had Laredo, and Dan Posts, and these are a million light years better. So comfortable - I can shop for hours with my wife and not feel like my feet are going to fall off! I usually wear a 12 wide in Ariat boots, but these round toed Ropers fit perfect in a 12 D.

I'd also recommend: ariat and Luchesse if I were rich

After two weeks - they will feel like sneakers to your feet, after two years - like gloves, and they'll look better every day. Bought the second pair a couple of weeks ago; keeping the old one for back yard work, etc. Needed new insoles though: those ATS are like magic.

Well made, practical boots great for every day use. Narrow shaft, smaller throat make these great for narrower feet or low instep without making it a narrow boot.
