All day cute and comfy - This shoe is now my everyday all day go to work and after work shoe. I like how the toe area seems to make my foot look smaller and with a pair of pants this shoe looks classic, dressy enough but feels like a house slipper with support. I find it true to size.

Not trendy, but nice looking and comfortable - I have worn this shoe for years now, and since my daughter "borrowed" 2 pairs from me, I had to buy more of my own. I have owned these in black, red, and Bordeaux. They wear well and are extremely comfortable. I have walked all day in these while on vacation and never felt uncomfortable--never a blister. The look isn't trendy, but it's fashionable enough and spans the generations, from college-age to college-age's mom.

The shoe I've been looking for - I've bought so many shoes that were never quite "right," that my husband calls me "Imelda." I wanted something black, appropriate for travel (both casual and slightly dressy), and above all, supremely comfortable. These are the shoes I've been looking for. They feel like bedroom slippers but make my feet look as though I'm wearing ballet shoes. And they are much more comfortable than the usual "chunky" shoes I thought would fit the bill.

Needed a navy shoe with straps and found the choice limited. This shoe is acceptable but unremarkable and no match in office-worthy looks to well-loved Munro shoes it is replacing. Roomy enough for an orthotic, reasonable amount of cushioning in sole -- gives but not squishy. Seems cheaper looking than price suggests- perhaps because of finish on the long Velco strap which does, however, have the advantage of making the fit very adjustable. This shoe is very similar in style to SoftWalk Jupiter which I have in another color; I didn't buy navy of Jupiter because I have found its inner "moguls" irksome and the slightly upturned toe dorky. I believe Scala looks and feels somewhat better.

Feather's - These are light as a feather and true to size. Handmade comfort. Bought these fro a trip over seas. Voted "Most likely to wear on the plane." Not as ugly as I felt they may be. They are cute with pants or a skirt!

Comfortable for travel - I, with Zappos return policy, tried many different shoes trying to get the right shoe for a European trip. This is the shoe that I will be taking. I ordered two pair. They are near perfect but do seem a bit short in the toe area. I ordered my regular size. A half size larger would be too big.

This is the second pair of Arcopedico shoes I have owned. For style and comfort, they cannot be beat. I wore my last pair completely out and expect to do the same with these. I was stopped by a woman this weekend who said she loved these shoes. She said she was going to order a pair from you as soon as she got home. Thank you for making it so easy and fun to have good shoes!

Cute Mary Janes - I like the look of these, they are cut lower on the instep but that doesn't suit my feet. My feet are an in-between size and sometimes 6-1/2 fits, sometimes a 7. These size 38 was too long, but the width was not comfortable. I prefer the SoftWalk Lafon. Orthotics fit these shoes.

A winner! A very comfortable, yet supportive shoe. I have a flat instep and most shoes don't fit properly. This shoe has an adjustable strap, which makes all the difference. Looks good with skirts, crop pants, and jeans.

Cute, well made shoe but not as comfortable as they look (or I'd prefer). I won't be spending the whole day walking anywhere in these. Part of the issue is no arch support. The other is the European sizing. I'm usually a 36 (5.5 to but a 37 (6.5) would be too big. Also the velcro strap needs some wearing in. So far it keeps returning to where it was creased when it was new, which is too tight.

New and Vastly Improved Scala by Arcopedico! I just received my Scala by Arcopedico in Ostrich and much to my surprise they have added additional arch support. In addition to the ample toebox and light weight, these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own. I also ordered this shoe in black suede for a dressier look. I have the older version of this shoe in navy, black. burgundy, white, powder blue and brown. This is how I know how much Arcopedico has done to improve the arch support. When you are going for comfort and ease of packing if you travel, or just everyday comfort and classic Mary Jane styling, these are the shoes to buy!
Brands I'd also recommend: This shoe style is unique. There is no other like it.

Love this shoe - I haven't had a shoe this comfortable since I gave up my earth shoes back in 1979 (ex-hubby didn't like the look of them.) I took them out of the box and wore them 5 days straight, with both skirts & tights, and slacks & socks. The velcro on the strap allowed me to adjust the strap to the perfect fit. The leather at the edge of the opening did not cut in to my skin when walking. The leather is very flexible and comfortable, not stiff at all. The finish on the leather is very durable, too. I don't think I'll have to worry much about scuffs. The sole is cushy, and the style is quirky. I'll be wearing these shoes an awful lot.

The greatest shoe EVER. This shoe is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I have five pairs in different colors. They support my arch well and I can walk all day in them and have no rubbing anywhere. I am looking forward to more colors for my next pairs. Zappos have my business, I ordered my shoes and I had them the next day and they paid the shipping. Good work, folks.

Arcopedico Scala - I really like the look of this shoe and it was very comfortable, but I did not stand or walk in it for a long time. I usually have a problem with shoes slipping on my heels; the instep strap helped with that. The only negative and it is personal taste: I prefer a buckle rather than velcro for fastenings. I am probably going to get this shoe in the black.

As usual, these Arcopedico Scala shoes (my third pair so far) are among the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. So far Arcopedico hasn't outsourced their product to China and compromised on quality. They're not cheap, but they're worth every penny in comfort.
Brands I'd also recommend: Dexter--if you're lucky enough to find the right size. Outsourcing to China has ended sizing consistency

Love this shoe! This is my second pair of this style. It's a wonderful all-purpose shoe that have found for travel and around town. No breaking in necessary. Extremely comfortable, fits like a glove, great support, and a neat appearance.
