These shoes are as comfortable as slippers. For painful feet or feet with malformations such as bunions or hammertoes, Arcopedicos are a soft and gentle change from more rigid leather shoes. They are certainly worth a try as an alternative when nothing seems to feel comfortable.

I am very pleased with these shoes, the flexibility of the uppers is great for bunions, etc. I did have to put in an innersole as there is not enough padding on the bottom. This compounded the problem of them running a little small when compared to the same size of others by the same company.

This is a terrific shoe in evey way--comfortable with or without socks--you can even wear in the water at the beach--the weave lets your feet breathe--I have bought four pairs, including one for someone else.
Brands I'd also recommend: Aerosole, Arche (although very expensive).

My Mom has problem feet and these are the only shoes that work for her because the top is soft. Wish there were more shoes for people like her but, for now, these are it.

These shoes are really comfortable. I've some arthritis in my feet and a bunion on the left foot and the Arcos work really, and they accommodate my orthotics. It look decent at the same time.

I normally wear an 8.5 C shoe. I ordered the 8.5-9.0. The width was perfect and the length OK but my big toe was at the end of the shoe. If I wore a 9, I would go to a size longer. The shoe is light and comfortable. I will probably buy this shoe again.

These shoes have been a life saver and more specifically a back saver. I literally stand 8 to 10 hours a day. During the past few years my upper back started aching and was getting worse as time went on. The Arcopedico is comfortable, allows the foot to move, they look sleek and great especially for a studio setting. The arch support is minimal but is enough to give me significant upper back pain relief. I only wear these shoes indoors so can't about a broader function. I love them and have three pair in black.

Having got feet that are often quite painful, I am thrilled to have found some shoes that are not only comfortable, but are wearable both in and outdoors and are good looking into the bargain.

This is a great shoe, and this purchase was a replacement pair for the same shoe purchased years ago. Although very similar to another brand and just a few dollars, this is the brand to buy! It is a bit sleeker and narrower. I'm a medium to slighter narrower. I also have another color in the other brand, but this is tops in my book. You'll be happy you paid a few extra dollars.

These shoes are awesome - they look better in than in the pictures. Finally my feet don't look wider than a tugboat and I am not relegated to only wearing "little Dutch girl" shoes - lovely as most clogs are. Another plus, my hammertoes are so sensitive that even though clogs are comfy for the soles and have a huge toe box, the leather on top is still too hard and irritates me. These just stretch and breathe - wonderful!

I am diabetic. The shoes prescribed for me were huge, like clown shoes. I couldn\'t even walk in them. These Arcopedicos are light and supportive, but do not rub on my feet. I\'ve been wearing them for 3 years now and they are the only shoes that don\'t bother my feet. They wash wonderfully, the color does not fade. I wear them with socks in the winter and without in the summer. I only wish they came in more colors.

these shoes are so light on your feet, you hardly feel like you're wearing shoes. I have them in white and plan on getting more colors soon. I love Arcopedico...they've become my only shoe purchase choice. My father and 3 brothers were shoe makers from the old country and they always said,"it's the last that counts". I love, love, love Arcopedico. If comfort is the most important reason for wearing shoes, then these shoes are the ones for you. They breathe and mold to your feet..
Brands I'd also recommend: for me, this is the ONLY brand, but try others too, you too may find YOUR BRAND at ZAPPO\'S

I actually got these for my mom as she needed something easy to slip on and off. She also needed something that wouldn't hurt her bunion. She loves these and they look pretty nice on her. They are a very comfortable shoe with fairly good support. I'm actually thinking about getting a pair for myself because they seem so comfy!

I always wear Arcopedico when I travel. Easy on-and-off at the airport and great for long walks, especially in hot, humid places, like Thailand, where my feet tend to swell. On top of the quality of the shoes, I recommend Zappo's for its customer service. This was my first time ordering form the site. I had an unexpected trip and needed new shoes. Wasn't sure which size would be better, so I ordered two pairs for no extra shipping charge. The customer service rep who served me was professional and knowledgeable. I ordered at 10:15 at night, had the shoes at 9:45 the next morning, and was on my way the next day. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER service from the initial phone call to the return of the unneeded size of shoes.

Vapor Person - This is about my 7th pair of these shoes. Great for gardening, walking in India, fishing. They dry out, can be washed, ventilation, some arch support, and do not cause rubbing/blisters. Great shoes for total comfort.

Comfortable, stylish shoes at last - These are great shoes. Comfortable, stylish, and reasonably priced. The only con would be they need just a little more support, but then they might not be as comfortable. I have 7 pair (one of each color) and love them all. Great to travel with, as they will not be crushed. These are also washable. Love em.

Wonderful shoe particularly for swollen feet!!! If you suffer from edema (accumulation of fluid in the feet), these are the absolute perfect solution in footwear. Edema is more common during the hot summer months and the airy, stretchy fabric expands with your foot. When I can't even get my foot in the best leather shoes or my sandals with velcro breaks open, my collection of Arcopedico is a lifesaver/footsaver. I also appreciate that getting them wet doesn't appear to do any damage. They are washable and somewhat quick drying.

New Sec - I have had these for many years and I love the excellent arch support they provide. I wear them as house slippers. Even though I just sit at a desk most of the time I am at home, it still seems to make a huge difference to my feet and my posture if I wear these as opposed to other slippers without this kind of support. I have washed them once in the washing machine and the fabric looks like new again, but the little papery tab inside the right heel broke. It doesn't matter much, the shoes still feel great.

Funny Shoes - I have worn these for many years and have been called the lady with the funny shoes more times than I can count. Which always surprises me because I have always liked the look of these shoes - sort of an old-fashioned (as in medieval!) classic. But these are not shoes for the faint of heart or the uncertain. If you want a really therapeutic shoe, for your arches and your foot's gripping muscles, nothing else comes close. These mold to your foot like a ballet slipper, so you must order them very snug; I order a half size smaller than normal, and my foot is a little wide. If you slip around in them they are too big. But for a summer-cool, good-for-your-feet slip-on these can't be beat. I miss the olive color; hope they come back into production.
