I ordered these shoes just before a trip back to Europe and they arrived the night before I left -- fortunately, they fit. I had bought these first in Austria some years ago and wore them until the cork inside sole wore out -- used them for a couple of years as beach shoes and shuffled through the salt water with them. Washed them in the machine a couple of times in a bag and came out good as new. I can't live without these good-for-everything shoes, and the knitted mesh molds to your feet. I think Arcopedico deserves compliments for making such great shoes that last for years and are so comfortable. Please note it is best to order a size smaller than your normal shoe size (my normal size is Europ. size 38 and in these, I order a 37).

I find these shoes are not comfortable as walking shoes. I can only wear them for short periods of time. I have had surgery on both of my feet and need support and these shoes did not offer any. So I leave them at my office and wear them there. I was very disappointed in them.

I'd also recommend: Aerosoles, Riekker, Arche (although they are far too expensive now)

Arcopedico Light Slip-on Shoe - These shoes are wonderful! I just received my second pair today, so I now have the olive and the navy. I have been having problems with my left leg/foot swelling and have not been able to wear most of my "regular" shoes as when my leg is wrapped to get the swelling to go down my foot will not even fit into my slippers! When I got my first pair of these I could have kissed the person who came up with this design! The shoe fits very nicely on my right foot (which isn't swollen) and just as well on my left swollen one!! What a joy!!! They have a wonderful sole that is not slippery and the shoe is "light" as it states! NICE JOB!!!!!
I'd also recommend: Keen, Birkenstock, Born,

Ordered this size after reading the reviews. Length was fine but did not fit in the heel.

Most comfortable shoes I own. I have nerve damage in the ball of my foot and these are the only shoes I can wear without pain.
