From the beginning, there was only one goal for Professor Elio Parodi - create a piece of footwear that would be synonymous with the word "comfort." In 1966, Professor Parodi succeeded in attaining his goal and Arcopedico® footwear was born. Our feet have been thanking him ever since.

The Arcopedico brand can be identified by three basic traits: the Techno-Elastic upper, an anatomic footbed, and the twin arch support system. Due to its patented design and cushioning system, an Arcopedico shoe offers benefits that other brands simply cannot. Wearing an Arcopedico shoe will actually exercise your foot, strengthen the muscles, and ensure more comfort in walking. The tops of your feet will breathe easy and your soles will want to keep walking long after you've stopped.

Arcopedico not only offers an exceedingly comfortable shoe, they also offer many different styles and colors. You are sure to find something that will fit your casual lifestyle, whether it is an open toe sandal or a stylish Mary Jane. All Arcopedico styles are manufactured to provide you with industry leading comfort and durability. You owe it to your feet - try out an Arcopedico shoe.

I wish I would have listened to that one review that said these boots were smaller than marked. They are smaller and more narrow than marked. The arch support is strange in that it feels like your stepping on a mound. They are also small around the calves even though they have string lace ups. The stretchy material contracts too much so the loosening the laces do little good. They look nice, but I was disappointed and will send them back and never buy shoes from this company b/c their size goes up to 11/11.5, but feel like a 10.

I wanted to love these boots! Great color, great look, nice adjustable laces, fit nicely over my bunions. However, just as I was going to wear them out of the house for the first time, I noticed a lot of squeaking and creaking from the sole. I thought it had to do with the fact that I'd removed the insoles and replaced them with my orthotics, so I tried keeping the insole in. They still squeaked. I love how they look but I know that squeaking would drive me insane after a while (as it had with much cheaper Aerosoles I've bought in the past). When you're spending this much on a boot, that just shouldn't be an issue.

I read the other reviews before buying and was really surprised when I received these boots. I thought they felt very, very flimsy for the price. The uppers are a very soft, almost fabric-like material. They were comfy but I felt like they would be ruined if you scuffed them or got caught in a storm. I expect something more substantial for the price of these boots. Also, in case you are wondering, these are a faux suede, not a faux leather, which is what I expected but it is hard to tell from the photos.

I love these. Comfortable, beautiful, and vegan. Worth the price. I get complements all the time and walk in them for miles without any problems. The arch support helps with that.

I have always said that it's impossible to find shoes that are (1) comfortable, (2) attractive, and (3) vegetarian. Normally I have to sacrifice at least one of these three requirements. These boots have proven me wrong! They look great! The material looks like suede. The laces in the back make it possible to adjust them to fit your calf. I get tons of compliments on them. They are super comfortable -- I have walked around quite a bit in them, with no blisters, hot spots, or any other discomfort. (And believe me, it is difficult for me to find comfortable shoes that are not running shoes.) And best of all, they are vegetarian! I hesitated to buy these for the longest time because of the price. I'm so glad I did -- they are worth every penny and more. I normally take a size 8 in boots -- that fits comfortably even with thick socks. Zappos did not have a 38 (7.5-8), so I ordered a 39 (8.5-9). The 39 fits perfectly -- so glad I went with this size.

These shoes really do feel like bedroom shoes but they look way cooler. I love the lace up backs. The color is fabulous as well. Best of all they are a stylish alternative to leather.
