These are wonderful looking and feeling boots. The red (Carmen) is deeper than as it appears on my screen. It is a good true shade of red that will go with most anything. I have purchased Arche before. I have found their medium always runs very wide in the toe box as especially compared to the narrowness of the heel. The length on the Euro sizing runs true to the comparable U.S. size. This is also true with these boots. I will be wearing a medium weight sock with these to take up some of the toe room. The quality of Arche is worth the price.

These have become my go-to short black boot and great with skirts and pants. They are also the PERFECT travel boot, because all arch shoes are water resistant. (I used to London and have tested this.) I wish I had bought them before going to Northern Europe last Spring, they would have kept me warm, dry, and stylish.
