I like this shoe, dressier than an athletic shoe and perfect rocking sole for people with toe joint problems (Hallus Rigidus). The "Lucie" is very comfortable for long term walking, good for traveling and great with black yoga pants for a sleek look. I wear an 8 1/2 wide and these came very true to size. My first experience with Aravon shoes, so far so good.

I have many problems with my feet and buying shoes was an awful ordeal. When these shoes came in the mail I tried them on and have only taken them off to sleep. They are wonderful!!! The foot bed is well padded and the width is generous.

I'm still not sure that I like these shoes. I haven't worn them very long, but am having increasing trouble keeping them on my feet - the strap is so long that the end nearly touches the bottom edge of the shoe, plus the velcro tab is not very secure and keeps coming undone. I feel as if I am walking out of them. The interior height of the shoe is quite shallow. I can not recommend them.

I've been absolutely living in these shoes all day every day. They are attractive enough for church and sturdy enough to walk on rocks at the beach. They are comfortable and roomy for my toes and take the shock off my heels. Wonderful shoes!

Most comfortable shoe I have ever bought. I have terrible feet and I can wear these all day. I have since bought two other Aravon styles. Highly recommend to any one with PF or other feet issues. Very roomy toe box. Look good with slacks.

For the first time in my life, I have cute shoes! I have a cavous foot (high arch and instep, Achilles tendon that gets irritated easily), and these shoes feel great all day.

I was so looking forward to these shoes arriving based on the description, featured picture, and customer reviews. Unfortunately the leather is not quality, the shoe strap is flimsy, and does not stay attached to the Velcro, the interior of the shoe is of inferior material, the shoe in general looks and feels inexpensive, actually cheap. There is little comfort upon trying them on. Clarks makes a better un-constructed shoe and uses quality leather. I have been wearing new balance sneakers for years' perhaps New Balance should stick with sneakers. These shoes are being returned.

The velcro doesn't seem like it will last long, but it's comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately these were too narrow for me. Hopefully New Balance makes more mary jane rocker shoes; comfortable feminine shoes are few and far between.

Ugly shoe but comfortable for my wide, painful feet. Very wide size was huge on my wide feet; D width fits well. Have not decided of I'll keep them as they are frumpy shoes.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I have a full orthotic so am used to having to remove the insole that comes with the shoe. Normally that is no loss--they are usually junk. This insole is awesome--unless you need a custom orthotic it has great support and cushioning. I tried for 3 days to put the orthotic on top of the insole but it made it just too tight. It is perfect with the insole out but hated losing such a great insole--first Aravon--will try more.
