I love these shoes. I have purchased several of this style over the past few years and will continue to buy them as long as they remain available. I wear these every day for work. They are super comfy and stylish. They are shiny as shown in the picture, and do not lose the shine. The sole is rubber so they are very cushioned. I have recently started wearing orthotic inserts because I tend to wear out the inner heel part fast (pronate?) and they provide additional arch support (not that these have poor arch support). I purchase them in black and mocha - haven't tried the other colors as those two work with anything. They do tend to stretch out a little, so if they are a little tight to start, don't worry, they will loosen up - problem is they do tend to get pretty stretched out over time - I just start wearing thicker socks, or a cheap insert will tighten them right up. Highly recommend these shoes!

I am so glad I got these! A little background first: size 8, no arches whatsoever (thanks dad) and just started wearing orthotics. I ordered my normal size (8) ignoring what some of the others were saying about the shoe running a 1/2 size larger. When I first tried them on (sans inserts) they fit okay, a little snug but I didn't like the way my foot looked because it rolled to the inside and it looked like I was walking on my ankle. I then tried them on with my inserts and the shoe was super tight. I thought for sure I was going to send them back for the 8.5 or for an entirely different shoe. Took them off, then put them back on for a last look but they fit a little better. Put them on at 7am for work and they were super tight but by 1pm I noticed that the shoe was loose and my feet were completely comfortable. The shoe definitely stretches just hope it doesn't continue to stretch too much. Before buying I mulled over the price a little but then figured sometimes you have to pay more for quality. I found these cheaper elsewhere but went with Zappos because I'm very familiar with the quality of their service and I didn't want to have to deal with potential return shipping refusals/fees or restocking fees.

I love these shoes! Super comfy with just the right arch support. I bought two pairs of loafers on the same day from Zappos, and these were the better choice by far. They ran true to size and I got them in the dark brown mock crock. Great in the rain and snow, which a huge plus living in Chicago! I highly recommend these loafers. They are not old-lady looking. These shoes are very comfortable. I wore them to a trade show and they were the best shoes I packed. They are true to size and since the weather has been nice. I've been wearing them without socks and they remain comfortable. Highly recommended.

Beautiful shoe. Love the patent leather. Works great with jeans and business casual. Easy to wear all day right out of the box. Not much padding under ball of foot, so may tire others feet after much standing and walking. Great shoe for work.

Extremely Comfortable and Beautiful Loafer - I've been looking for a new brown loafer to replace my Paul Green loafers that I've had and worn almost everyday for five years. These fit the bill, no break-in period, beautiful leather (although a bit shinier than I would like but will be great for spring). My only gripe, and it’s almost non-existent, is that the toe is really square and makes my small foot look even a little bit smaller. The toe box does contribute to the comfort, so I guess one might cancel out the other. Overall, if you're looking for a different yet comfortable loafer that can go with suits and jeans, this will work for you.
