Perfect boot cold northeast winters! The "stay dry" Gore-Tex (wear with socks) maintains great warmth and dryness. Wore these to Europe in December which proved perfect for lots of walking . Warm, dry and comfy the whole time!

This boot is very comfortable. It's in between casual and dressy. I've been wearing them under jeans and over my skinny cargo pants. I will also wear them with slightly dressier pants. They are that versatile. I haven't worn them in the rain yet, so I can't comment. In a perfect world, I would have liked them half an inch higher.

Very narrow... I usually have no problem with ara shoes, but these boots were so narrow the bones in my toes were crunching. If you have a narrow foot, though, these are beautiful, waterproof boots.

Went through ankle deep water and feet stayed dry. Shoe fits large, I ordered a whole size smaller than my usual size.

Beyond the fact that I've been looking for these boots for a number of years, the service I was given by Zappos made me a definite devotee. I accidentally ordered the wrong size boot, and when I realized this, I saw that there was only one pair left in my size. I wish I could recall the name of the agent who assisted me...she was wonderful. She sent me the correct size pair before I sent the others back. She made me feel important and trusted. Where does this ever happen?

Love this boot. Very comfy right out of the box. I did have to buy a 1/2 size bigger, and it is perfect. Sometimes B width shoes are too narrow for me, but this fit perfectly. I imagine if you have a narrow foot, you might have problems. Love the square toe -- modern, and gives your toes space to be comfy on long walks. Totally waterproof fabric. Lightweight.
