Good but Inconsistent - I purchased a pair of ara's Bali shoe last year and they were fabulous. They were very comfortable and wore like iron especially walking on New York City streets. Lucky for me, they also run wide. I reordered two more pairs this fall and it appeared that that they were a bit different. The picture looked the same. However, the heels were not stacked rather they were made of a very shiny material which would not have been my preference. One pair fit well so I kept them. The other pair did not so I returned them. I hope this new model wears as well as last year's model.

I own this shoe in every color (black, navy, white, black patent). As a matter of fact, I have two blacks--one pair stays at work in case I need to change into a respectable pair of shoes for a meeting. I wear the black and the navy shoes with jeans and with slacks. The leather is soft and buttery for extreme comfort. A fave in my wardrobe.

This shoe fits beautifully. I have flat, narrow feet, and haven\'t had success with any flat shoes, no matter how expensive. Flat shoes always gap, they are wide, and not flattering. Somehow this shoe comes up a little higher, is narrow, and fits great. Makes my feet look nice. What a welcome surprise. It does run a little large so I had to order a 7.5 instead of an 8.

A refined, understated, well-made shoe in deep navy, suitable for business wear. Heel is unusual in that it flares gently as it reaches the floor. Comfortable, with a slightly padded footbed. The "narrow" isn't particularly narrow; I would have gone a half size smaller to compensate, had it been available.

I got the Pewter Metallic and its more like darker and bronzer taupe than color shown. It runs a half size larger -- so go half size down or it will be too loose on you. I usually wear 8 but ordered a 7.5 US and after wearing it for an hour it stretched to conform to my feet. The sole is rubberized so good traction. The heel on the Pewter is stacked. You can wear with casual, work or going out. The patent toe will take you from work to cocktails.

Cute shoe and great shade of navy however it is not lined in leather as stated in the description. The trim around the top edge of the shoe and the lining are fabric. Since that never wears well for me and invariably produces rub burns I am returning them. Of course, that's always an easy process thanks to Zappos fabulous customer service department!

I really comfy and nice looking. I wore them for the first time for my son's graduation which was an all day both outdoors and indoors. It's rare that I can wear shoes without feeling like I've made a mistake. I am thinking of getting a pair in another color.

This British size is not the equivilent of a US size 11. I am definitely an average 11 and this shoe is equivalent to a 10 at best. In addition, it is cheaper looking than most other same price shoes; I suspect just because it is an import. I am here to tell you it is a Payless quality import. Needless to say, I am returning these shoes.

First ordered this shoe in my usual size but it felt a bit tight. Then got it in a half-size larger and it felt great to begin with. The shoe box is very comfortable without looking clunky. However, the shoe must have stretched more than half a size during the first day of wear so now it's very loose. Will try other Ara shoes since they look nice, and am hoping that it's a safer bet to stay with regular size even when they are tight to begin with.

This shoe looks really nice and would be a good looking shoe for work. Initially ordered my regular size but since that felt tight I returned it and ordered a half-size up. This shoe initially felt great when I was trying it out at home, but after wearing it for a full day at work it had stretched out at least half a size, so now it's too big, even with inserts.

Perfect! I've been buying and returning because the toe of the shoe doesn't come up high enough, so it cuts my foot in the wrong spot. Not so with these, and I've got to say the style looks like a Ferragamo shoe! Finally a 'flat' shoe that isn't a ballet flat. I'm a grownup. I work. I need real shoes, not slippers. These have support, style femininity. They are worth every penny. Buy them.

These shoes felt great right out of the box. I wore them for an entire day without any problem. I have flat feet, and need a wide toe box, so it is a joy to find a comfortable dress shoe. Not a lot of arch support, but they still felt great. I usually wear an 11, but needed 11.5 in this brand.
