Love love love!! I just purchased my 2nd pair of Wasabis and couldn't be more pleased! My first pair were red and now these are black (I had to get them from Saks since Zappos was out of them - get back the solid colors Zappos!!). They don't look plasticky like a lot of patent shoes can, and are great in the winter. They keep my feet warm and dry (although they don't stand up to splashing in puddles after a few wears due to the seams and zipper). I like to wear them with dresses; they are nice without being too dressy and are extremely comfortable out of the box. My red ones have gotten a lot of wear and have creases like most boots naturally will, and they still look great after a year of frequent use (I must wear them at least twice a week during the fall/winter. Highly recommend it! Echo everyone who said to buy 1/2 size up, and that they are very tight around the calf but not uncomfortably so (I have average-size calves).

Perfect fit - Based on the other reviews, I was going to order a half size up but decided to go with my regular size of 7. Good thing I did. It was a perfect fit. I have been wearing only skinny jeans with these boots, putting the jeans inside and it looks great.

Not Shapely - These boots are an outstanding color. The fit is great for a slim calf and foot. The heel is nice looking. The leather is great. The lining is pretty. The inside sole is comfy. But... My only complaint, and the reason I reluctantly returned them, is they have the shape of a fisherman's boot. If they were yellow, you could pair them with a yellow raincoat and wade into a river with your fishing pole. If only they were a wee bit sexier and less boxy. Their overall shape doesn't hold up to the other attributes I mentioned.

These are the most chic and fun boots I ever owned. They look very stylish, even though they're flat-heeled. I got the red ones, and they are just stunning hot. You can wear them with pants, but even better with a skirt. Do keep in mind though that they are quite narrow in the ankle and calf, so you have to order a size or half a size bigger. Otherwise, they're very very comfortable, like a slipper. I've owned other shoes from this brand, and they are all very high quality. Also, the service by Zappos is outstanding, I ordered them on Saturday, and got them by noon on Monday, free shipping.

Elegant and comfortable - Wasabi 3 is the perfect boot for rainy days when you still want to look elegant. I ordered size 12 (so few companies make my size, thank you Aquatalia!) and it fits perfectly. I've worn my pair only once so far but got lots of compliments.

Finally! Winter boots with function and flair - Based upon the excellent reviews of this boot, I ordered a pair and I am extremely satisfied (although it's August and I haven't worn them yet in snow.) Gorgeous truly is the word for these Italian leather wonders. They are SO COMFORTABLE and fashionable. As for sizing, because most people reported that the boots run small, I ordered a size 10 (I usually wear a 9-1/2 medium and I have an average calf size.) The boots fit me snugly but they're not uncomfortably tight. Lightweight hose works perfectly in my boots; thicker socks would require a larger size but the boots didn't come in a 10-1/2. I bought mine as dress boots and don't anticipate needing heavyweight hosiery. Furthermore, my boots arrived less than 48 hours from my order. I'm very pleased overall with Zappos and my new boots!

Gorgeous, but get a size larger - All that say these boots are gorgeous are accurate. All that say they run small are also accurate. I wear an 8, I bought an 8 1/2, they were still snug, and I couldn't zip them past my shin. (Ballet dancers and cyclists beware!) I may try a 9 and see if the calf is roomier. If not, I may try the shin high versions. The red is FABULOUS!

Aquatalia Wasabi - The Perfect Boot! Wow, these boots are gorgeous. I have tried on tons of flat boots and none look as sleek as these. The patent leather is gorgeous. The toe is just the perfect oval-ness. Also, very comfy. The lining pattern is really cute. I am a perfect 7 1/2 M and this boot was too small - without any socks. It was tight all around the shoe, so I ordered a size 8 instead.

Leather all-weather beauties made in Italy - Contrary to the description by Zappos these boots are made from leather which is treated so that they can get wet. They are gorgeous. Unfortunately, they also run small and narrow. I dearly wanted to keep them but at size 12 there were no higher sizes. These boots are a very high quality.

Chicest boots EVER! Got the "red specc patent," and they are gorgeous, with a sleek toe, ankle, and shaft unlike most boxy, clunky, fisherman-like rainboots out there. I might even wear them on sunny days; they are THAT cool. Beautifully made and very comfortable. As the description states, they're lined in a soft, floral-patterned padding, which is a nice touch. One warning, though: if you plan on wearing athletic/cotton/thick socks, you might want to go up half a size.

Wow... I tried on many, many boots in this style, comfortable, flat, black, knee high. This boot was the one I chose, fits like a glove, looks clean, lean in the calf, reminds me somewhat of an English riding boot in patent leather. Really comfortable, I needed a boot for walking in around the cities in Europe in winter, these were outstanding.

A weather-proof boot that "ROCKS!" I bought this boot in red patent leather. It is stunning! The fit is true to size, and it is very comfortable. Any boot that looks this awesome, yet one can put on in all weather conditions with no worries is worth the price! I highly recommend not only THIS boot, but many others by this same maker. Now get out there ladies and jump in some puddles or make a snow angel- forget your cares in this boot!!!!
