I bought these boots in brown last year (slightly different styling). I love them because they are really narrow and fit snugly on my long skinny foot (size 11). I looked for them this year in black and bought them immediately. I am somewhat disappointed though because they are slightly shorter in length. I compared the length of the sole and sides to my purchase from last year and they are definitely shorter. I am still going to keep them and try to stretch them since I cant go up a size. Manufacturer should be made aware of this.

These boots are fabulous! From the moment I slipped them on they fit like a glove. I'm a size 9 (sometimes 9 1/2, depending on the brand), and I ordered a 9, a perfect fit. They zip up the back, which in addition to looking fabulous eliminates any issues I might have had with my larger calves (I also ordered the Aquatalia Vault boots, that are a variation on this style, but my calf was too big). The boots are pricey, but so far, worth every penny!

These are great looking boots, but I have a large calf and I couldn\'t get them zippered up, even with a zipper on either side of the boot. So, I must return them.

I bought these boots in dark brown, wore them once and the suede rubbed off the toes. I didn't even wear them in the rain. For the steep price I am very disappointed. I was told I could wear them for years in all types of weather. I am going to order La Canadienne from Zappos and see if I make out better. This boot was beautiful, perfect height, warm and comfy. But a boot at this price should not lose the suede on the first wear!

Gorgeous boots - i bought these in patent leather from another store. Beautiful and stylish - and the wedge heel makes it very comfortable to walk around in all day without any pain or discomfort. I usually wear a size 39, and in this pair i have a size 9. I did insert a 3/4 length Superfeet insole to add a little more cushioning and arch support - it did not have much of either, but now its super comfy. It\'s a little taut around the ankle area - i feel it only when i am walking up and down the stairs, but not otherwise. Overall a fantastic pair, perfect for work and dressy events - and its waterproof too!

Stylish shoe, runs very narrow. I have a normal (M) width size 8 foot. I ordered this shoe in an 8 and 8.5; both were too narrow to fit my foot. This is not a normal issue for me and I had to return them.

After trying some other brands of shoes/ankle boots of similar price/nature, I finally bought these shoes in black. Very pricey, yes. They seem to be well-made and my bet is that they will be worth the money in the long-haul because they look like they will last for quite some time. My first time to try Aquatalia and I'm pleased so far. Bought them for the rainy cold weather ahead and haven't had lots of chances yet to see how they truly hold up to the weather. They are attractive and comfortable for daily wear thus far into the season. Worn them a few times in rain with no color bleeding nor anything bad to say. Gotten compliments on them, too.

Very cute shoe. Comfortable and nice heel. I\'m always looking for a nice shoe to wear to work on a rainy, slushy day. The heel is high enough for my long pants.

These boots are great. They are stylish, unique, comfortable and well made. They are truly mid calf, though, and may not fit those with larger calves or with longer legs. These boots are very comfortable and I can wear them all day with ease. The bottoms are fairly slip-proof. Definitely worth the considerable cost.

These shoes are fabulous. After I received these, I ordered them in black also. They're extremely comfortable & go with rolled up jeans or dressier pants or skirts. Not too high so I can wear them all day without my feet suffering. Well worth the price; they'll be "staples" of my wardrobe for years.

These shoes are waterproof,extremely comfortable with a soft lining and can be worn with most anything. They are very well made and stylish. I have several shoes made by Aquatalia and they are all beautiful, comfortable and essentailly maintenence proof

These boots are great! I ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. Soft leather, no need to break them in, comfortable from first step; weatherproof as promised! Very expensive, but worth it.

Love the style and fit of the Aquatalia boots. They run true to size. The length looks good with skirts and skinny leg pants. They’re very comfortable for walking and performed well in a recent rain storm. I will wear them year round because of the versatility of patent leather. I highly recommend the brand and style of these boots.

Runs small. I just got this lovely shoe. I almost always wear a 9, but this shoe seems to run small to me. I am going to try a 9.5, but I am wondering if it stretches over time.

Beware, these boots run small. I wear an 8.5 in Aquatalia and most other shoes/boots, but could not wear these. I am now trying to decide whether to go a whole-size or just half-size larger. Very disappointing because I wanted to take them with me this weekend.\r\n\r\nThe styling and quality are great, as they shoul be for the price! They just are cut small.

They run really small. I am a size 6/6.5 and ordered a size 7. They fitted almost there, and feel tight where the elastic band is. I bought them for a walking trip to Europe and I'm wearing them everyday before the trip to see if they will stretch out enough to be comfortable or not. They are a nice looking pair of shoes, but for the price I expected a lot more of a comfortable shoe.

I am a devoted Pliner fan. This is the first pair I\'ve tried from Aquatalia. I think they run small. And the shaft is a little bigger than what I like on the calf. Overall just not as comfortable a fit as Pliner. They look nice and clearly well made.

These are fabulous! They fit like they were made for my feet and they look incredible. Hard to believe that a boot that looks like this is weather proof. This is my second pair of Aquatalia boots and I can\'t wait to get another! These boots are worth the price.

These shoes are quite comfortable and flattering. They fit close to the foot and minimizes my large feet. I agree with other reviewers. This is a very nice shoe and I'm glad I purchased them. They are good for walking and look great with skirt or slacks.

These boots are absolutely gorgeous, and great in the winter too. The shorter heel makes them easy to walk around in slush or ice in. They wipe clean easily, too. I love them so much that this is my second pair. Every time I wear them I get compliments. They are expensive, but well worth it. I have gotten a ton of use out of them

Just pulled them out of the box today and these boots are very comfortable. I did order a half size up and they fit just right. I have not worn them outside yet, but I am hoping that they really are weatherproof. (That is what the Aquatalia brand is all about.) They are still very cute and stylish. They look great with jeans.

Stylish and comfortable - These shoes were surprisingly comfortable with good arch support and padding. I returned them because the colors were too light for heading into fall. They had a small kitten heel and were true to size.
