- Perfect for men with heavy beards. The lightweight essential oils soften tough hair and prepares the skin for shaving to prevent razor bumps and ingrown hair.
- To use:
Massage a little oil on top of facial hair. The amount you use depends on how much hair you have to shave. Top it off with your shave cream or gel. For best results, shave after a hot shower to open up pores. - Key ingredients:
Calendula: Helps heal and soothe. Extracted from marigolds - it calms and heals. Calendula has centuries of reputation for being very helpful for troubled skin especially in men. It's mildly antiseptic, according to old herbal sources, and soothing. It is used for dry or damaged skin as well as on bee and other insect stings. It soothes inflammation caused by shaving. Anti-oxidant.
Castor Oil: Hydrates and softens beard. It has binding and moisturizing properties. Castor oil is used in skin care products as an emollient. It is a hard, shiny oil that acts as barrier agent to protect against harsh climate. Soothing to skin. Makes hair shiny when used as a conditioner. Good for dry skin and brittle nails.
Eucalyptus Oil

Olive Oil: Hydrates and softens beard. Superior to mineral oils in penetrating power. Sharp, spicy, rather musky and warming aroma. Said to be good tonic for the hair.
Peppermint Oil: A humectant and skin softener that binds and holds water to the skin. It is the most common moisture-carrying vehicle other than water itself in cosmetics. It has a great penetration through the skin and is therefore excellent for use in shaving gels.
Rosemary: Helps heal and calm skin, rich in vitamin C.
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate):
Anti-oxidant, nourishes and feeds the skin. Conditioning. Anti-inflammatory, helps reduce fine lines, helps reduce small wrinkles. Improves moisture capacity of skin. Aids in prevention of scar tissue resulting from burns, cuts, and sores. Reported to slow the aging process. Excellent for all skin types. - 2 fl. oz.

I got this for my husband for ingrown hairs on his face and to store the razor in. He appears to like it and it has reduced redness to his face. What we ended up doing was using a jelly type jar with an opening for a spoon to store the razor in the oil, also keeps out the bugs and dust. Works well.

This is a relatively good product. The oil is a little messy for me and I am not a huge fan of the scent. It does however help the razor glide pretty easily when shaving. I usually use ProRazo preshave lotion, which I wish Zappos carried because their products are my favorite.
