I've never worn this goggle myself, but have sold it in our shop for the last 6 years and have tried it on many times. It's a solid goggle for the price, but a little bit small for my face. Definitely fits medium to slightly smaller faces best, or larger faces that don't care as much about having that fishbowl look that some of the larger goggles out there provide. The strap hinge makes it fit with most helmets pretty well, too.
This is the goggle that got me hooked on Anon, and I rode it for a few seasons before I upgraded to the Hawkeye, but, honestly, the Realm fit my face better. I have a pretty big face and nose, so the Realm was a better fit for me, but if you have a smaller face, Hawkeye is the way to go. It's lighter and sits closer to your face. That's really the only knock on the Realm, that the frame is pretty bulky and doesn't give you as much peripheral vision as the lower profile Anons. But it does have the spherical lens, which is sick, and I still love the style. Always have, always will. Oh and the removable mesh on the top makes it really easy to vent your goggle on those humid days when fogging is an issue (just not when its snowing!). I'd give it 3 stars on performance, but there's not a rating for that, so I just bumped my overall rating (counting comfort-5, style-5 and performance-3 because of the frame) down to a 4. Still a solid goggle, but I'm going to wear the Comrade this year.
This goggle is my favorite Anon goggle yet. I used to ride the Anon Hawkeye and before that the Realm, and the Comrade not only gives me the best fit (I have a bigger face) but you don't see the frame in your peripheral vision at all since it has a big lens and sits closer to your face than the Realm. Plus, its way lighter than the Realm. I only rode with it one day at a demo, but it is definitely my new favorite. Full 5 stars from me! Oh and it looks cool with a helmet too, since it fills up the helmet nicely. Kinda makes you look like a MIG pilot from Top Gun (which I would guess is where 'Comrade' comes from???).
