They are great looking boots; I got 1/2 size larger so I could wear whatever socks, so that part of the sizing was right. I did not realize that they were for a wide calf, and since I had a good inch to 'pull in'. I have to send them back. Shoot!

These fit great over my apparently enormous calves. However, there is something about the way they fit around my ankle that really hurts. I wore them to dinner with my husband, and after only two hours I had very deep dents on the inside top area of my ankles on both legs. I am not sure if I will be able to wear them again, and unfortunately I wore them outside before I discovered this. The rest of the sizing was fine.
