Top of boot is mid knee but material not soft so is uncomfortable. I'm 5'6''.

Not much support in the footbed. I am wearing them to work today and could use a footpad for comfort. But I love that the boot shaft doesn't gape around my calves like some do. If you have large calves, I would not get these. Definitely for smaller calves. But if you have problems with gaping, these are perfect. Material is kind of shiny and reminds me of a rainboot, but I am hoping they tame down after a few wears.

Boots look nice and were on the snug side, so anyone wishing to wear thick socks might go up a size. I am returning because I literally cannot zip them up my calves. I don't have large calves, so I would only recommend these for someone with very slender calves who has trouble with boots gaping and sagging.

I have a wide foot and these are comfortable but have very little arch support or cushion in the footbed. And the scary part...the sole are very slick. Scary slick on wood or tile floors! Do not wear in snow!
