Annie Reviews
I bought these for my daughter for a dance, she has size 12 feet and is very hard to fit...these fit her like a glove. She loves them!
The shoe actually looked nicer when I received them than in the picture. I have a wide foot, and the W shoe fit well when I slipped them on. Unfortunately, when I started to walk, they made that awkward slapping noise against my feet that flip flops sometimes make. While the width was good, the two straps that go from the sole of the shoe up to the strap around the ankle are too long, so the sling back did not fit properly. I wanted to use them at a wedding where I am a bridesmaid, but this awkward flip flop slapping noise just won't do. I'll have to send the shoes back.
I'm a prom chaperone this year and need reasonably comfortable, low heel to wear. Normally I spend the school year in Dansko clogs or comfortable ballet flats, but obviously that will not cut it this weekend. Still, I do not want a high heel, and the height of this shoe is perfect for my needs, although it is a little matronly. However, I will probably be sending these back because they flop on my feet like flip-flops. The toe area is fine, but the straps on the side and back are loose enough that they do not hold the shoe on my foot. I bought a wide for the area across my toes, but that may be why I cannot keep them on my feet in the back. If I do end up keeping them, I will definitely get some padding to go under the ball of my foot. Luckily, with Zappos' fast, free shipping I can still grab another pair or two to try before the prom.
Bought these shoes for my daughters wedding in June. I have only worn them around the house and they do appear to be comfortable. Heel is not too high, but still stylish! Time will tell on the comfort!
This was my first time ordering from Zappos and I love the many selection of shoes in my size. Easy ordering and quick delivery.
Great service, delivery and product. Shoes ran true to size and seem to be comfortable. Since they were bought for a special occasion, which has not yet occurred, it is hard to say since they have just been worn around the house.
Ordered for my daughters wedding. The fit was perfect and just the right heel height for all day wear. First time wearing a sling back and the shoe made my foot seem longer I liked that!
I thought the wide width would be too wide...but the normal width ones would be way too small for my feet. The wide ones aren't too wide at all and have a super comfy fit. Something I will be able to dance in for more than one song!
Beautiful sandals but not for me. The heel is a little too spike making me feel wobbly and they were not quite comfortable for me. But they sure are pretty!
The quality is a bit flimsy, which seems to be standard for the brand. These are what I'd consider "disposable prom shoe" quality. They're great for matching a formal dress and wearing for an evening, but they wouldn't hold up to heavy use or a ton of walking. I'm giving them 4 stars anyway, because honestly, that's what I expected based on the price. They're not super sturdy, but the low heel makes that less of an issue. Something to watch out for with this pair is that the back strap is elastic. There's no buckle. I also tried the Annie "Lila" and I was able to get a better fit with the Lila. The Lila also has a more substantial toe box, which looks nicer and feels more comfortable. I'm having some trouble with sizing, but I can't blame that on the shoes. My feet are somewhere between size 12W or 12WW and size 13M or 13W. I think the 12W is going to end up being the best for me. That might mean that they run a bit big. A word of warning: you need to line the ball of your foot up just right for the satin strap to properly catch your pinkie toe and not look weird. This may be an issue unique to people with wide feet. I think these shoes probably look better on people with average or narrow feet.
I agree with the other reviews in that the material seems a little cheap. However, these are some of the most comfortable heels I've ever owned, and they're extremely cute!
If you wear this shoe with pantyhose, your foot slips forward and the strap keeps falling off no matter it was on the last hole. Very uncomfortable to walk in as well. My feet were killing me after the wedding and I didn't even dance in them just walking around a little.
I love shoes, but I have very difficult feet. Answer to my problem? Zappos and their free return policy. I order different sizes and I return the ones that don't work out. These are wonderful! My needs are very specific and even big box shoe stores never have the variety I appreciate even if they have my size. These shoes are attractive, look good on my foot, and are cost effective for a seldom worn pair of shoes. I believe I will have the prettiest shoes at the wedding and I am not the bride. They are comfortable, well made and affordable. A winner all around.
I don't know the country of origin of these shoes, but the quality of the peau de soie is poor (not smoothly bonded), and the material actually looks puckered and wrinkled, as if they were shipped in a huge bin to the box company for packaging. I saw two tiny punch holes in the side, as if they'd been "Walmarted" together with its mate. I didn't even bother taking out all the packaging, which was a waste; this shoe is too far gone to protect.
This was my first time purchasing an Annie shoe and it will be my last. The shoe actually has a white elastic band on the inside of the shoe. I guess it's meant to provide extra width; however, you cannot easily tell that the white elastic band is there by looking at the picture of the shoe and it is definitely not a part of the item description. It looks like the maker of the shoe left the material off. I do not understand the rationale of not covering that particular part of the shoe with the same gold material. What? Did the makers run out of the material? It just doesn't make any sense that the elastic is not covered with the same material as the rest of the shoe. Though the shoe is stylish and looked great on my feet it is poorly made. I've seen better quality made shoes at Pay Less or Shoe Show for a lot less cost. I felt as though this shoe would fall a part after several hours of wear. I am very disappointed because the shoe matches my outfit perfectly. As for the comfort I did not mean to score it a 5. Instead, I meant to score it a three, but for some reason I am unable to change it. I'm so disappointed. This is the worst shoe I've ever received from Zappos!
Not the quality I expected for the price. The right heel seam was off center and one of the folds of material on the front by the bow went the wrong way so it didn't lie flat. The fit was comfortable.
Beautiful shoes! I a hard time finding nice sandals due to prior surgeries on my ankle. These shoes fit nice and look very pretty. I would definately recommend them.
