Bought these in the neutral and loved them so much I ordered them in the black, look great with pretty much anything.

First I tried the champagne. I held onto them for more than a month, but every outfit I tried with them wasn't quite right. I think the sheen and texture of the fabric made them a bit too dressy for me -- I think they'd work well for a wedding. So I sent them back and tried the black. This pair seems to be more versatile for my wardrobe. The texture isn't so obvious on these, and the shiny trim and raffia wedge give them a sweet appeal. Also, there's no toe cleavage, which I appreciate. My toes feel a smidge cramped, so I can't give five stars for comfort. I haven't worn these shoes for more than a few minutes at a time as I try them with various outfits, and perhaps the linen will prove to be forgiving with wear. I own (and love) the Anne Klein button flats, also in a size 7.5, and it's interesting to me how much daintier these Gaellys are in terms of their footprint. The word that keeps popping into my head to describe them is demure. Although I haven't made up my mind 100 percent, I think these are going to be keepers.

I tried my best to pick a pair of shoes that would match a print dress, but I did not do too well when they arrived and I compared the colors. These are cute shoes, but they are not going to work out for me. Had it been a perfectly comfortable fit, I would have considered keeping them and I am sure that I would find something to wear them with, but they seemed half a size smaller than I would have wanted.
