I tried these in an 8 and they didn't work. The 7 1/2 fit much better lengthwise and the "toe curve" area didn't dig into my big toe like before, which was a plus. I was starting to like them and considered getting them. Since I found the ankle strap to be too long in the 8, I figured that can be resolved by adding additional holes if I got the 7 1/2. Well, the strap fit but the buckle was pressing on the ankle bone as I walked around the apartment. For this, I gave it 4 stars for the comfort, since that will be an issue. I needed the smallest hole and the second to last was too loose.
I love these so much I just ordered a second pair in a different color. May get the black ones too even though I have very similar black shoes. They're so easy to wear, not too low, not too high, they're about the only ankle strap heels I can remember being able to wear for hours and hours, could even dance in them. Maybe they just fit me just right, don't know, just wonder if I should go ahead and get a back up pair of the bone so that when I wear them out I'll be able to keep wearing them. (My first pr are in a color they no longer have, taupe suede.) And BTW, I'm "old", 64, and admit that my taste has changed through the years, or that comfort trumps style, but I still love good looking shoes and heels and don't think these look like "old lady" shoes any at all. I usually wear a 6.5 M in heels, usually a 6 in flats and got these in a 6.5, they fit perfectly.
Looks good on. Good heel height. I'm a 7.5 or 8 depending on the shoe material, style so I got an 8 due to the pointy toe to give me more room. It gave me wiggle room but the curve coming from the base of the shoe going around the big toe kept digging into me. I know it's not leather - another reason I got it larger, but it was cute and not a bad price point for the style when you're looking for a low heel. Most low heels I find unattractive unless you're willing to spend them money. I got a back up though.

My feet are in utter pain and agony after wearing these shoes for a day at work. I have blisters on the inside sole of both my feet the size of quarters. I can't understand how a shoe could inflict so much pain when I spend most of my work day sitting at a desk. These are going straight into the trash if I'm not able to return them.
I really wanted to like these...they looked like exactly what I wanted...a cute pair of summer sneakers which would match almost any outfit. The first problem was when I took the shoes out of the AK box, they reeked of plastic. Which may have been because each shoe was in a plastic bag, but it also got me wondering if all the trim was leather or if just some was leather and some was plastic. I'm just not a fan of plastic shoes because they don't let my feet breathe and just get all stinky. The next problem was that the bed of these are some sort of plastic-like, smooth, slick material...so wearing these without socks just isn't an option as any sweat would just stay between the shoe and my foot. Gross. Immediate return. Guess I'll stick with the more practical, but less colorful Sperry shoes.
Great shoe. Comfortable right out of the box. However, only after a few wears...the coloring is already wearing off and they look several years old now. It's not as if I've been running marathons in them...just walking around a hospital.
Good shoes for work. Small heel and reasonably comfortable for walking intermittently throughout the day. The toe box is small so if you try to wear liners they will show and not look good.
Sharp shoe. Fairly comfortable, too. Wore them to a wedding and danced my a** off.
Overall the shoes look great! Unfortunately I have worn them several times now and still get blisters at the heel and on pinch points in the toes area; they are not as soft I thought they would be or did not break-in as quickly as I would have wanted. I am keeping the shoes though because I love the look, the heel, and overall shape of the shoes.
