Streamlined design, plenty of inside pockets for organization, and comfortable over the shoulder. The distressed nylon makes for an interesting, attractive texture.

I normally carry a small Ameribag and am quite happy with it but I need a little more room for an upcoming trip so I don't have to carry a day bag and a camera bag. The medium size has enough room for a camera bag insert to hold my 3 lomography cameras (the largest being a Holga 120wpc), a stash of film, changing bag, my mirrorless digital camera and all other items I wish to keep with me during a day of sight seeing. In truth I prefer the look and feel of the microfiber bags but I've learned from experience that the distressed nylon are much easier to clean and take a lot of abuse without showing wear.

I have used these bags for years for traveling. They hold a lot, are comfortable to carry, and have enough pockets to keep thing organized.

This is my 3rd AmeriBag. I mostly use them when I travel as I use them instead of a backpack for holding my camera(s), a rain jacket and assorted other stuff. I haven't had experience with the distressed nylon yet,but the microfiber one is waterproof. The nylon bag is lighter weight and for my upcoming trip that was critical. These bags have lots of handy pockets inside to keep you organized.
