Bought these with my brothers recommendation who is a regular runner. They look fine. Toe space is wider, however I don't notice much support. I was told its suppose to mimic running without shoes, which it does. I like them, I run with them now regularly about 15-20 miles a week. However, it taking some getting used to because its a different feel. If your getting these for an upcoming race, purchase early to get comfortable.

These definitely do run a size small. Normally I am a 9 in athletic shoes, but I had to take a 10 in these. They are a nice width. However, the purple band across the toe is annoying - I feel like it gets in the way of my toes. I would say both colors (that these shoes are available in) are pretty ugly, too. How about gray, or blue, or black?

I was looking for a shoe to use for crossfit. I tried the Reebok Nano and I hated it. It felt stiff and I wasn't comfortable walking, let a lone running in them. I have weird feet and I usually only wear Saucony, but Saucony did not have a good shoe for crossfit. I tried the Kinvara and didn't like them. So I went out on a limb and tried these shoes. My husband told me about them and I was a little hesitant. I love them! They are great for running and for weight lifting. I usually get a size 10 for running, but with these shoes I went with a 9 1/2. They fit perfect! I actually bought 2 pairs. One of the pairs came with a wedge under the insole and the other didn't. I took the wedge out because it made them too tight on my feet.

Normally with running shoes you move 1/2 size up from your normal shoe size - however, with this shoe, I did that and it felt too small. I recommend buying a full size larger than your normal shoe size, and especially recommend doing so if you have long toes or the ball of your foot is a little wide - for me, it's the latter, and my foot was squeezed uncomfortably across the base of my toes. There's a decent amount of room at the tip of the toe box, but my toes didn't even have the opportunity to get there. Additionally, there is a lot less volume in the toe box than you would expect from a minimalist shoe that advertises an "anatomical" fit to give your toes room to spread and move. However, the heel fit nicely, and the colorways were not as offensive as I thought they might be (although you have to be aware you will a bit of a 'Daffy/Donald Duck effect' going on. A little stiff for what I'd consider a "barefoot-aspiring" shoe with zero drop, but not worse than you'd find in your average running shoe.

I'd also recommend: Inov-8
