They are very comfortable but too wide for my narrow feet. I still wear them when I'm going to be on my feet a lot and I definitely think they keep my feet from being sore at the end of the day. Just be prepared to wear a think sock, that doesn't slip if you don't have a wide foot. I'd heard they ran big but the smaller size would have been too short.

The shoe fit length-wise, but was loose at the top, so when walking in them, my feet would slip out a little. This made me think it would cause rubbing and blistering on walks, so I decided to return them. It was also very stiff inside the shoe, very little cushioning. I own three pairs of Mephisto sandals and they are constructed for foot comfort. This shoe wasn't as comfortable as I'd expected for a Mephisto shoe.

Great shoe, but it runs a little big. I bought 1/2 size larger to accommodate my orthotic but I don't think that was necessary. However, I'm keeping the shoe, I'll just wear it w/thick socks. That said, good solid shoe.
Brands I'd also recommend: birkenstock (soft sole)

I love these shoes. They run a little large but I am happy to have them that way. Very comfortable and I think the styling goes well with capris or skorts!

This shoe makes me walk faster than I ever have before. It does not bind, pinch, or feel uncomfortable in any way. It is perfectly constructed.

I purchased these shoes for a trip overseas where I would be walking for several days. As with all the Mephisto shoes I buy, I take out the insoles and replace them with Lynco foot orthotics because it is the most comfortable for me. With the orthotics, these shoes were very comfortable but I wish they had more arch support which is why I give them 4 stars. They were also a bit roomier than usual but not a half size bigger. They looked great and held up well.

I had never heard of Mephisto shoes until my friend across the street showed me hers a month ago. I was impressed and thought, "What the heck. I'll order a pair based on the phenomenal return policy," and chose the Allrounder. Initially the heel rubbed, I assume because it is designed a bit too high. But now they have loosened up enough to wear them every day around the house, etc. Ever since, I have had no more back pain.
