This is a great piece of leather. I had a pair for years. They were a 16 width fitting. They're comfortable, wear well, and repair (soles) easily. I would certainly buy them again. Me: I'm a 6'10", 300lb, aggressive walker.

These are the best shoes I have ever owned. Granted my feet are fairly normal profile in width, volume, etc., or so one of the excellent shoe salesmen at a department store stated. These shoes fit me like a second skin. They are hands down, my favorite pair of shoes. I have never had a pair of dress shoes that I am as comfortable putting on as any pair of athletic shoes.

These are classy with a great feel. This is one of the best shoes I've owned. It is also one of the most expensive but may be worth it. Time will tell.

The jump sharpe shoe - You can wear this shoe on all occasions. I have owned several pair in tan and black. They offer excellent comfort, and they look rich. That's why I've named it the jump sharpe shoe.
Brands I'd also recommend: The Byron, Park Avenue and the Chester

These are the best shoes I have ever worn. I'm hard to fit with a 13 B foot, and I have to be extra careful regarding fit due to type 1 diabetes and the very real possibility of amputation that starts with poorly constructed shoes.

It's a nice shoe, but it's too big. I normally wear a 10W. I had to return a 9 1/2 EEE because it was way too big. Even the 9EEE is generous. This is a great shoe, and it's comfortable after it's broken in.

These are great shoes!! I got turned on to Allen-Edmonds over 20 years ago and am now on my 5th pair. They are classy, comfortable, and they hold up well. I just replaced a pair that I have worn 3 days a week for the last 8 years. Granted, I did have to resole them twice. Once you try an Allen-Edmonds, you'll never be happy with any other shoe.

This is one of the best dress shoes available. I've worn Allen-Edmonds for over 20 years now, and I'm a completely satisfied customer. They stand behind their products with both a lifetime limited warranty and a reasonably priced resoling/refurbishing service. I still have the first pair of Allen-Edmonds shoes I bought 20 years ago, and they look just as good now as they did then. The Park Avenue is one of their classiest shoes. It's very versatile, as they will go with any dress occasion, and the cap toe won't be "out of style" anytime soon. Their sturdy but very attractive leather uppers have a great shine (just as shown in the photo) and with proper care, will look just as good for many years. Sizing varies quite a bit between styles, and of the four pair of Allen-Edmonds I own, these are the widest. My foot is long and somewhat narrow; while I typically wear a D width, in these I went with a C and could possibly have worn a B. I find they're reasonably comfortable overall and I'd feel comfortable walking many miles in them, but they're not as cushy as an Ecco or Hush Puppies. Keep in mind that Allen-Edmonds uses a leather sole, and while they're a very sturdy shoe they're not intended for long-distance treks in the great urban outdoors. It's the usual two-out-of-three compromise between "looks good", "feels good" and "lasts forever." If you find yourself walking outside more often than in, you will be happier with an Ecco or another synthetic-soled shoe. I do a lot of walking outside, and I frequently wear these, but the soles wear out faster than I'd prefer; I have to get them resoled every 3-4 years, which is not unreasonable given how many shoes these days aren't meant to be worn more than a year... Styles come and go, and so do "designer" shoes. Allen-Edmonds aren't designer shoes, they're shoes meant to be worn for a lifetime. You can try to follow the trends and buy a new pair of shoes every year, but I'd suggest buying a pair of classic dress shoes instead; it's cheaper, and far classier, in the long run. Allen-Edmonds is one of the few remaining dress shoe companies still in business, and that's for a reason. I have no connection with Allen-Edmonds. I'm just a very satisfied customer.

This is a nicely built shoe. Even the EEE size is still a bit narrow, as I have a high arch. Also a it's a bit on the long side, almost an inch longer than my other brand 9 1/2. They're comfortable and breaking in well. They shine up well too.

This is a great shoe. It's more comfortable than I expected. In fact, after a 1/2 day of wearing them they where broken in and felt great. It's a classic design. This is my second pair of AE's. I'm finding it hard to wear anything else.
Brands I'd also recommend: I own Fulton's as well. Like them

You'll be hesitant to buy another brand of dress shoe. These shoes felt better after one day than most shoes I have had for years. They feel almost custom made. I own 2 pairs of the Park Avenue. The size is true.

These are the best all around business/dress shoes! I have worn this shoe for business/dress for many years. I bought a new pair when I retired; I think they will be around after I am. This is a classic look, much cleaner than wing tip. Professionally shined they look like patent leather; I wear them to the occasional formal! They're comfortable immediately.

These are the best pair of shoes! My husband says that these are the best "no shoes" shoes he has worn... it feels as if he's not wearing any shoes at all. They're a bit pricey though.

This is my first Pair of Allen-Edmonds Shoes. I have been dissatisfied with Men's dress shoes due to the lack of quality in the leather and comfort of high end (expensive) brands. I decided to try Allen-Edmonds primarily based upon the reviews listed on the web page regarding comfort, fit, and quality. The fit is true, the comfort (even on the first day) remarkable, and the quality of the leather is excellent. They take a good shine and last all day looking terrific. I will continue to purchase this brand. They are definitely worth the money.

This is a great quality, conservative dress shoe. The only criticism I have is that the bottom of the heel is rubber; I would prefer leather. Otherwise, they're great shoes. This order was my third pair of the same shoe. They were the first order of two pair I have been wearing daily for 4 years, and they look virtually new.

These are great looking shoes, and they're extremely comfortable. I've had them for close to 3 years now, and they have held up extremely well, although I only wear them once or twice a month.

This is an ok shoe. It looks great, but the shoe screwed up my heel. The looser fit caused friction and a bad blister. The heel pad and tongue pad made it better. This is the consequence of a real dress shoe though. Otherwise, it's a great shoe. It is comfortable now, although just a touch narrow in the toe area. I am a natural 12, and the 11 1/2 was a little big.
Brands I'd also recommend: Bostonian is cheaper choice

My husband wears a size 12Wide shoe which is difficult to find in stock in most shoe stores. My husband is thrilled with these shoes. The fit is perfect, the quality outstanding, and he says they're the most comfortable pair of shoes he owns. We'll definitely be ordering from Zappos time and time again!

These are worth the money. I purchased a pair of the Melton Johnston Murphy shoes and returned them to Zappos because they were stiff and dug into the side of my ankle. For some reason they are cut higher around the ankle than the Allen Edmunds. I purchased these after returning the Meltons. There's no comparison in the leather, fit or construction. It's a beautiful shoe and was comfortable immediately.
