Actually, to the previous reviewer: it is quite obvious the shoe has a slight platform. It says so right in the description (Platform Height: ½"), duh. Although it states ½", I think it's more like 3/8". I have them in black antique, and they are lovely. And, surprisingly for a heel, quite comfortable. They look great with a modern business suit as well as a pair of skinny jeans. I wear 9 medium in closed toe footwear, so I bought my pair in 9M, and they fit well without pinching. My only wish is for these loafers to be made of real leather, not faux. Faux tends to get sweaty, and does not wear as well as the real thing. I think, at the current price, these shoes could be made of real leather. I Might be buying them in brown as soon as my size becomes available.

Super cute shoes! But they're definitely at least a half-size too big. I am normally an 8 1/2, but I'll have to exchange them for an 8.

I don't have any wearing experience with this shoe, even though I own it - it's too hot and humid in Florida to wear it right now. The shoe is gorgeous and fits great. It is stylish and sexy. I have had good luck with Anne Klein shoes.

These shoes are adorable and exactly what I've been looking for. They're surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in; however, they don't have a lot of arch and am considering getting inserts. Other than that, they're a great shoe!

I love the look of this shoe, but unfortunately they keep slipping off the back of my heels. I'm determined to keep them so I will add some padding to the heel and the toe.

Comfortable, beautiful shoe perfect for work with either pants or pencil skirt. Fits 1/2 size larger than anticipated. But will surely keep as I love them!

I love these shoes! They are so adorable, the heel is just the right size for work, not too high. I am always between a 7 and 7.5 so I went with the 7 after most reviews said it ran a bit large and it fit perfectly. My only tiny gripe is that the bottom of the shoe is perfectly smooth and has no grip/texture so I will be very careful when walking on smooth floors. Overall though the shoe is made well and looks high quality!

These definitely run a half-size big; I was hoping to take advantage of that to compensate for the fact that I need a wide width and it isn't offered. Alas, no luck - these are definitely narrow across the toe box. There isn't much padding/cushion, but you may be able to add inserts to resolve both the sizing issue and padding! The brown color is multi-toned as shown in the picture; it looks a little cheaper (plastic-y) in person. But otherwise this is a very elegant looking shoe - could definitely look sharp with a skirt or long slacks. I wish they had fit.

Very cute, very sassy shoe. I read a few other reviews that said it runs a half size too small, so I ordered a size 5 instead of 5.5 and it feels a little snug, but not too bad. It still slips a little in the heel so I just wear a heel gripper and it's fine. I get lots of compliments on these and would order them again.

After reading previous reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than normal for me, and these were still a bit too big. 7.5 s fit very well, and now I own AK shoes in sizes 7.5, 8 and 8.5. But I wore them recently for several hours; no blisters, no issues.

Definitely order a half size smaller than you normally wear. It runs a little small in the toe box so if you have wide feet your little toes may get squished. Otherwise looks great.

Incredible! The comfort of this shoe was a very pleasant surprise -- having grown up and "having" to wear a loafer for years as part of a school uniform, could not believe the comfort, style and classic look of this shoe. The muted color was fabulous and will work with anything from a bootleg jean to pinstripe suiting. Will most definitely be purchasing the grey fabric.

Runs short. I kept the size 8 although it is a bit big. Anne Klein shoes do not always have an identical fit.

The shoe is very pretty and stylish for work. However, the shoe runs half a size larger than marked and I found this shoe to be extremely uncomfortable for wearing all day long. On my first wear, I realized the shoe presses down on your pinky toes, leaving you with a nice blister. I then tried using toe cushions to protect my toes and even then they still killed my feet. I wish they would've been more comfortable because they are esthetically great for the office.

This is a comfortable and cute shoe. I usually wear between a 9 and 9.5. I went with the 9, and that still fits a little big, but nothing an insert won't take care of. My one serious complaint is that the platform is already showing significant wear on the edges, and I've only worn them a few times.

I think I read the reviews about the size incorrectly because I ordered the half size larger than I normally would and they were definitley too big... Style wise my friends/family didn't give it a thumbs up so sending them back.
