These run small. Order a full size bigger than you normally wear and you will probably end up with very comfortable shoes to hike in.

I have very difficult feet (bunions, fallen arches) but I LOVED these shoes. They are a nice neutral color and low profile so they don't look like a big hiking boot. Excellent arch support, enough wiggle room for my toes. The only problem is that in my normal size 8, my toes were touching the end of the shoe. Unfortunately Zappos is out of the next size up, so I decided on a different shoe instead.

These didn't the amount of support that I get from Brooks Addiction. I even tried replacing the insert with the one from Brooks Addiction and still no go. They're really cute though.

Very happy with these shoes. I just had to order half size bigger. Nice arch support. They also grab my feet nicely from the sides, which I like especially in long walks in the city. Love the olive color!

I've had these for a week and a half now and they're wonderful! My favorite trail runners were getting old (four years) and not-so-comfy-anymore and I started looking for replacements more than a year ago, but nothing fit right or else was so painfully 'sporty' and bright that I couldn't wear them anywhere except on the trail, so were returned and I was still left with old runners that were beginning to fall apart. I panicked and bought these when the seams started shredding on my old shoes three weeks ago! These are great running shoes, very comfortable on light hikes, and are casual and cute enough that I can wear them out without feeling like everyone is staring at my feet. I ordered a half size larger than what I wear in non-athletic shoes, because when running or hiking it is more comfortable to have a little extra room in the toes for when you kick something hard or are running down hill. The padding around the ankle is very comfortable and doesn't rub my skin raw as most other shoes do, and there is enough arch support and width that my slightly high arches don't give me a problem in these, yet not so much that I feel like I'm swimming in them. These are my first pair of Ahnus and all the good things I've heard about the company are true. Thanks Zappos!

I ordered two models of Ahnu shoes and am returning them for the following reason: they are almost a whole size shorter (although not wider)then regular size (in my case 7), and, most importantly, neither one of the models had any cushioning so that even a trip across the room was very hard going! The colors are lovely, though, and the style of both is very attractive. They just didn't feel functional even if I could order a bigger size. Too bad.
