I owned 2 pairs of Ahnu Benecia before purchasing the Ahnu Kick. I really loved them and wore them for a year. I recently purchased the Kick and another Benecia in leather. Both turned out to be very big disappointments. I knew my size (they run a half size smaller) and they fit the same as my old pair, however, after a week of wearing, the buckle I loved kept loosening. It started as a nuisance but after a few more days became a safety hazard. Walking and driving would cause the strap to loosen so much the shoes would fall off. After 2 weeks, it was evident they were no longer wearable. I guess they changed manufacturers and/or components. Bottom line, until the buckle is changed, do not buy the Ahnu Kick or Ahnu Benecia or you will wind up returning them. I love the style and comfort, but the buckle is so bad I have to give this version 1 star. I would give it a zero if that was an option.

So nice and comfy -
I am really happy with these. They are perfect for work where I stand much of the time. I have been telling everyone about these shoes. My feet are wide and these feel great.

I've had too many foot surgeries to mention, so I'm very picky about shoes...and I love this one. I got it in garnet and get lots of compliments. It goes with everything casual. I wear an 8 and had to go up to an 8 1/2. I'll probably buy it in another color.

Cute trick -
I bought these cute shoes because they appeared to be well ventilated and made from breathable netting. i was disappointed to find the netting is thickly lined with a polyester kind of material and does not breathe well, gets clammy inside. Also the footbed under the ball of the foot is not quite wide enough, puts too much pressure on the joint when moving the foot. The clasp does not stay shut. Cute but not my boot.

Great light weight shoe. As others have mentioned, the strap does become looser as the day wears on, but they are stylish & light and great for daily wear and long walks.

The Ahnu Kick for women -
I love the look and tread of the Ahnu Kick. I usually wear a size 6.5 but the 6 fit best. I took these to Washington DC where we walked everywhere. This shoe is not the best walking shoe because the strap continually gets loose and though it was cool in DC the week we were there my feet sweat in them and felt clammy most of the time. My feet do not usually sweat. I have been meaning to write Ahnu to ask how to keep the strap snug.

Could be perfect if not for the closure -
I bought these shoes and have found them to be very comfortable. Unfortunately, as another review stated, the closure just does not stay tight, no matter what I do. It is annoying to constantly have to tighten it, so I hope the manufacturer corrects this problem!

This is a cute shoe. It is a good color of brown - very dark and if you were traveling and limited on shoe space you could get away with it paired with black. My only complaint is that after wearing a few times the strap loosens as you wear it.

All around great shoe -
It took two days for these shoes to get really comfortable for me. At first there was some minor rubbing. Now I love them. They are sporty and seem to be made really well and durable. I have only had them for a few weeks though, so we will have to see how long they last. For now they are perfect.

Closure spoils a perfect shoe -
I wanted a shoe that was casual, cute, comfy and a little girlie. The Ahnu's Kick fits the bill to a T! But sadly, after only a few weeks wear, the closure just slips right open all the time. It's very frustrating and uncomfortable and spoils an otherwise perfect shoe. I still wear them all the time but it bugs me that I'm constantly having to tighten them up. Oh, one more thing, when I got them, they were a bit tight but have since loosened up to a perfect fit. See, everything about them was great if it weren't for that darn slippery closure!

This shoe rocks -
This shoe is so cute, so comfy and has great support, and it looks so cute on my feet. It makes my feet look smaller in a good way - I've been walking in it every day for 2 weeks now and no problems from day one. I bought another brand, similar styling but had to go and buy support insoles for them as they hurt my arches because there wasn't enough arch support and they cost twice (yep, twice) as much as these little shoes. I love this shoe!! This is a great shoe with great style, great value, and great support. I am glad I checked out Zappos before running all over to try to find something. Yeah Zappos, you're the best!
