These sandals are amazing. I needed a good arch support and they have that. The straps are all adjustable so you can make them fit perfectly which is so nice. The insole is removable for your orthodics. I was going to put my own insoles in these but they had such a good arch support I didn't need to. I really like them as I have Plantar fascia.

I have just returned from a month in Italy. I brought 4 pair of shoes, and these are the ones I wore everyday. The arch support for me was just right. I never had a problem walking on the multiple stairs and bumpy pathways. My feet appreciated the open sandals as the weather was hot and humid. My friend was wearing a different brand of sandals, and she sprained her ankle. Well, ok, we were climbing up to a castle, and I thought to myself that I should be wearing sturdier shoes for the trek, but I was wearing my sandalistas, and did not have a problem at all. I will say that since I wore them daily and was rough on them, that a bit of the rubber on the toe came off. Now that I am home, I have just ordered 2 more pair, but from the aetrex company, not knowing that the wonderful zappos site offers free shipping. Sorry zappos! In the past, I've worn a size 8.5, but for sandalistas I ordered size 9. I think they are very good looking too.

I really like this sandal. I use orthotics so it can be difficult to find a sandal that I'm able to wear. Each strap is adjustable so I'm able to get a comfortable fit and adjust them if my feet swell during the day. I highly recommend this sandal!

These shoes are really comfortable, but not for the price...the front edge of the shoes is coming apart. Only wore them 4 times. Not impressed by the wear, plus the bottom of my feet were stained black when I put them on with wet feet from the beach.

Ordered these in a size 7 & had trouble keeping them on my feet. Got them in a 7 & 1/2, much better fit. Love the fact that all the straps are adjustable. Really gives a custom fit. Terrific arch support. My fourth pair of Aetrex, really good looking sandals. Wish the reg shoes were more stylish.

Love this shoe! Just had foot surgery (bunion and hammertoe) and shopped Zappos for Orthopedic (UGG!) shoes that I can wear once I get rid of the boot. These will be perfect with adjustable straps and all of them are adjustable! And they are so cute! I always thought orthopedic meant ugly. Great arch support too!

I bought this sandal in the dark brown color at my local Happy Feet store before I discovered the great service from Zappos. This is my first experience with Aetrex and it was recommended to me by the great salesman at Happy Feet. I tried them on and walked around in the store for a while and they felt very comfortable, so I purchased them at an expensive price. I did not wear them right away and they sat in my closet for a few weeks. When I did wear them the first time, I only had them on for a few minutes when I noticed a very annoying squeak. The removable arch support was rubbing along the side of the bottom rubber piece and making a horrible squeaking sound every time I would take a step and put weight on the arch support. Needless to say, I was very disappointed for a shoe of this quality and price to do that, so I called Happy Feet and they said no problem to exchange, but recommended to rub some vaseline between the soft arch support and the rubber sole. This did work, no more squeak, but for how long. I don' t know how often I'm going to have to do this. The vaseline also got all over the soft footbed and left a stain. The comfort is great in this shoe, but the quality of how it is constructed is junk. Disappointed! Not worth the price for all the aggravation that I have had with them.

These are comfortable shoes with the original insole or with my personal orthotics. The three adjustable straps made it so easy to form fit them to my feet. They need only two days to feel like I have worn these for a year. I have very tender feet and they blister easily, but no blisters from these shoes. I love these shoes so much that I will order a second pair.

I really love the style of these sandals especially having a removable insole to be able to put in your own orthotic. The arch is awesome. They are very soft & comfortable. My only problem is that they are so soft that there is no stability in the sole to hold your foot in place. My foot rolled over. The sole was just too flexible. I'm sorry but I will be sending them back.

Aetrex Sandalistas are wonderful! The shoes are adustable, so width is not a problem. The length, however, was a problem. I ordered what I thought was a 9.5, just like my other shoes. The Aetrex are a lot longer, but I wanted to try wearing them at home and totally forgot that I had them on--and went outside! I would still order them again and would encourage others to try them. Who knows? You might like them as much as I do!!

Have worn this sandal all summer and it is the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. However, two days after I got them I had to take them to the shoe repair shop to re-glue (try) the skimpily-cut insole that pulls away from the shoe once the weight of the body compresses it. Now the trim around the outside of the soles is peeling off and the sole is badly worn for a pair of shoes that's only 3 months old. I loved these uber-comfortable sandals, but won't (until they change the materials with which they are made) purchase another pair.

The most comfortable shoes I own. All three straps are adjustable so I get a custom fit for my troublesome feet. The removable insole is squashy, yet firm - if that makes sense. They feel amazing. I normally wouldn't pay this much for a casual sandal, but they're worth it. So am I. I've worn them every day for 2 weeks.

I bought a cute lime green pair of these shoes last summer--and I love them! I wasn't sure if the color would be too bright and obnoxious for my tastes. But I wear a lot of green and was pleasantly surprised at how well the color looked with most of those outfits. And the fit and comfort is wonderful! I have a very high arch and spent three years in Dansko clogs while waiting for stress fractures to heal. These shoes give me all the lateral support I need as well as the arch support. And the Velcro tabs stay in place just fine - another thing I was worried about when I bought them.
