Finally, a cute orthopedic shoe! I have wide feet with a very high instep. On top of all that, I have custom orthotics, which are thicker than normal insoles. So most shoes are too tight, even if I can remove the insole first. Not these! These are the cutest shoes that can accommodate an orthotic, but still have room left over for an added layer of cushion, and still not be too tight. The only other shoe that could do that were my Aetrex Ambulator mary janes. Those shoes are comfortable, but so ugly. Besides the comfort, I'm happy because these Lucy shoes actually look good with skinny jeans. Ballet flats would be better, since I can't wear those, the Lucys come very close. I have only two (minor) complaints about the style: I wish the strap was thinner (it's about 1" wide!) and I wish they had not stitched flowers on the side. Other than that, I love these shoes! Normally an 8.5 wide would have been perfect, but they pinched around the toes. I chose a 9 wide instead. I think an 8.5 WW may have also worked, but I'm too lazy to order a 3rd pair to try on!

Usually extra wide shoes fit me the best. I ordered an extra wide Lucy, but unfortunately, it was too narrow for my really wide foot. Possibly Aetrex as a group runs more narrow than Drew as a group. The shoe looks well made, and is about as stylish as a MJ comes. It would look good when wearing pants.

I feel deeply meh about these shoes. They are kind of old-lady-ish with the wide, velcro straps, and they're a little squishy in the arch support department, as if maybe they're just not quite up to my weight (so maybe arch support would be fine for a smaller person). But they're reasonably comfortable, actually wide enough (a rare feat, pun intended), and not terribly orthopedic-looking.

I bought these for work. I am on my feet and I needed something for my wide feet to fit my orthotics. They are very cute. Everyone complimented me on them. They are perfect for my business casual law office and they look great with everything I wear, even dresses. The button and the design on the side make them look cute rather than like old lady shoes with a velcro strap. I love them.

These shoes are very basic, supportive, flats. They're not particularly stylish -- the stitching adds embellishment but it's not really noticeable when the shoe's on your foot. So, they aren't flashy but they're cute -- very much like ballet flats with lots of support. If you're looking for plain mary jane's with god support, these shoes fit the bill. I bought these shoes on my doctor's advice. I had injured my heel running and needed to wear a shoe that would accommodate custom orthotics. I didn't want a shoe that made me look like a grandmother; and though some other brands have cute, trendy-looking shoes, some made me feet look enormous. I tried these and wasn't thrilled with their appearance at first, they are very comfortable and supportive. And the more I have worn them, the more the plain style has grown on me. No, I really love them. They're cute with skirts and also jeans.

Not a bad shoe, but due to the short toe area and stiffness, I'll be returning them. Also prefer a slightly thinner strap.

These shoes are actually quite stylish and the insole is removable. The upper strap ended up hurting my foot as I had to keep it snug to walk with my orthotics in it. Other than that they are very nice shoes.

This is a well constructed shoe and quite comfortable. I plan to wear it a lot since it works for the office where athletic shoes are not appropriate. It is a little deeper than many Mary Janes (such as Clarks) and accommodates my rather thick orthotic, however there is still a bit of heel slippage due to the my insert, which is a little thicker than most.

I was shopping for a wide size, sensible work shoe rather than an orthotic. This was not the best looking shoe, just the only one of the bunch that actually fit. They are incredibly comfortable shoes, but they're not particularly stylish or well made. They work well under pants, but in the flesh they're a bit too chunky to wear with skirts and while the button and embroidery are cute it dresses them down a bit too much for work. The leather openings around the edge of the shoe are trimmed with some sort of cloth or plastic which also makes the shoe look much cheaper and more casual. One of the buttons fell off the first week.

The shoes fit well. The only complaint is it seems like the velcro isn't very strong and may not last long.
