These sandals are soft leather uppers and synthetic soles. The sandals slip on like slippers. The sizing is perfect for a wider foot. The velcro straps made the fit over the instep easily adjustable especially if one has a high arch. There is no wear-in needed, these sandals are comfortable out of the box. Overall the performance of the sandals fit very nicely when wearing them for casual attire as well as a more formal business occasion.

Nicest sandal I've ever worn and I plan to order a pair in brown when my size is available.They feel like slippers and are easy to put on or take off. Hidden velcro fastener gets it right every time---no straps or buckles to stretch and wear out. With socks, they pass for dress shoes.

My husband has a very wide foot, and since I buy all my husbands shoes for him. I know it's a safe bet to purchase Aetrex's. He has other style's and they all fit him and he can wear them all day in comfort. They are one of his favorite brands for comfort and style.

These sandals are great. When I first received them I was a little concerned because they seemed quite narrow at the front. However, after a few days with shoe trees in them, they fit perfectly and are now my daily wear shoes. (I live at the beach.)

Besides the obvious - good looks and comfort - these shoes came in handy after my recent shoulder surgery. Since I, temporarily, can't do a lot that I used to (e.g. tie shoe laces) the velcro closure and ease of slipping them on and off were/are a blessing.

I bought this shoe as a father's day gift for my husband. He is very picky about shoes due to his sensitive feet that happen to be wide. This shoe proved to be not only extremely comfortable (he says they feel like house slippers) but nice enough to wear on a night out. Of course I can't say enough about Zappos and their A+ service.

I bought the mandals for the look and covered toe. The shoe liner intrigued me as well. The liner is less comfortable than I thought. Perhaps if I had access to the iStep Mosaic analyzer, I would up the comfort rating.

It's hard to find a sandal that will take orthotics, these sandals do and do so very nicely. Very firm and support the feet nicely with an orthotic and a good value, fair price.
