I started a job that has a bus commute instead of a driving commute, and I knew with the rain we've been having that I needed a good commuter boot. These ankle boots are perfect. They are quite waterproof, extremely comfortable, work great with slacks and don't look too silly when I wear a skirt. The leather version was sold out so I got these, but I think that these will wear longer than leather. The stretch fabric is very strong and exceptionally comfortable. I keep a few pairs of heels at my desk at work, but I will occasionally wear these all day at work if I'm wearing slacks.

Terrific look! Perfect for wintry days when a boot is required but so are formal pumps. I wanted these to wear to court so I don't have to carry a shoe bag for a change of shoes along with everything else. Sadly, although I ordered the B/Medium width, they were really narrow, especially across the ball of the foot. Of course, the boot itself is marked "A/B" so if it hadn't been for that, I'd have been thrilled with them and bought several just to have extras!

I agree these run very narrow. I usually wear B width, but once in a while I will get a wide in a certain brand. Well the B was really narrow so I sent them back for the wide and they are still a bit narrow! I am not sure yet if I will keep them, maybe they will break in a bit. The are really elegant and very streamlined for wedges. They are easy to walk in, the perfect height for work without looking clunky. The leather is waterproof but it does not look shiny and rubbery like a lot of waterproofed leathers. If it was not for the narrowness I would keep these for sure.

These may not be the most exciting or stylish-looking boots in the world, but holy cow, they are super comfortable! The second I put them on, I fell in love. The cushioning in these babies is unreal. I have flat feet with narrow heels and a medium-width ball of foot, so I have a very hard time finding comfy boots. I'm overjoyed to have found these and might buy more Aetrex shoes in the future.

I needed a stylish rain resistant boot for a trip to NYC in march. I bought over six pairs of shoes, looking for the right one. I decided to buy this one mainly for the price. The shoe definitely keeps water out but it is not very comfortable. I can't walk very far in them, which sort of defeated the purpose. Overall, a good rain shoe for short distances.
