Style maker, nope. Comfort, yes. Simple, sturdy and my orthotics fit. I can't tell you how the shoe fits as it comes because I do think my inserts may change the shoe bed and toe box. Raises it a bit so that my heel sometimes slips out of the shoe. I also wear Brooks sneakers/walkers. It was a good choice for my wide foot and pronation problem. Clunky looking but feels good. I have to get over it! I wish they could make it a little smarter looking. Glitter perhaps? nah!

I purchased these shoes for my mom who is 94 years young and a resident in Assisted Living. She was having some difficulty with shoe laces so I thought the Velcro strap would make life easier. She loves the color, fit, material and style. These are now her favorite shoes.

I am extremely difficult to fit. Almost impossible! This shoe is the first shoe other than a flip flop that I have been able to purchase that may work towards my comfort and ability to walk. It is attractive looking for a casual walking shoe. I am undecided as to whether it will work for me considering my difficulties. However, I am going to take my time and try. Zappos is one of the only companies I know that will give me ample time to do this because of their return policy. They are all kind and sensitive to my severe problem. Anyone in this width with lesser problems than mine should be able to wear this shoe.

I wanted a pair of flat black shoes that I could wear during the day while standing or walking most of the time. These fit the bill. They are comfortable although not particularly stylish, but I will take comfort over style any day.
