Unusual feature is the special adjustment possible with velcro strap on heel for different heel widths. This adjustment is important for me after having ankle replacement surgery -- one heel now is larger than the other. As a result of the adjustment I can make with the strap on each shoe, the runners do not slip up and down on my heel for which I am very grateful.

This has wonderful cushioning and I really like the back velcro strap around the heel because my heel often slips in athletic shoes. That much said, the velcro strap sometimes slips and comes apart. I've been using these shoes for walking, where it isn't a big deal for the velcro strap to come undone, but I don't think it would work well for running, so I'm dinging one star.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike Zoom Vomero
