I have these in the black and love them in red so I ordered! I normally need a wide shoe/boot and a wide-calf as well. These fit so well in the calf with room to spare but you can pull the bungie cord to fit. I wanted the red and my store was sold out in my size (42) so I've ordered them from Zappos and got the last pair. They are cute, unique and oh so comfortable and have athletic shoe type support. I will wear them with pants and skirts and black tights. I especially need them for an upcoming trip to Paris, where it rains often and can be muddy in the parks. Love these!

Very comfortable, most boots don't fit around my leg but these were great, not tight at all even with my pant leg tucked in.
Brands I'd also recommend: Not sure, first high leg boot I've purchased in a long time.

Great futuristic looking pair of boots. I was so excited to get them in the mail, but when I tried them on they were too snug. Whomp whomp. I was very surprised because I have a pretty normal width foot, usually my foot is too long especially with my big toe, these boots were plenty long just too small widthwise. I wear a 7.5 all most always, from time to time a 7 or 8. I ordered a 7.5 and need an 8. Sadly zappos was all sold out! So I am returning them.

Bought these stylish winter boots for my 28 year old daughter. She thought they fit well and she loved the lacing. (This was the 4th pair of boots of various styles that made the grade.)
