These shoes are great, but do not ever go to a specialist who claims that they are diabetic shoes as they will charge you much, much mroe! My husband just got this pair a week ago, because he has diabetes!

Walking Shoes - I like the double hook and loop and the comfort is great, but after wearing and walking every morning, I am running the heel over on the left shoe and the outside material is peeling off. This shoe is not worth half what it sells for.

Mrs. Sharon Smith - Love Zappos. My husband wears a large size. Most of our local stores do not carry 14's. I can get them from Zappos, delivery is Great. The walker is a good looking shoe, very comfortable and size is true to size.

I am a diabetic and was recently treated in a rehab center where they "prescribed" and delivered to me a pair of these and then billed my insurance company a lot. I bought a "spare" pair for myself for half that price here. (My insurance would not cover the extra pair.) The shoes are very comfortable and look quite stylish. No one knows I'm wearing a "diabetic" shoe.
