These may be the best running shoes I have ever owned. Super comfortable and supportive. Lots of stability and room for orthotics.

This is a great trail running shoe, fantastic underfoot support and very comfortable. I read about this model in Runner's World for recommendations on tested trail shoes. It's one of nine, and the most affordable. The 'red' version is actually a darker raspberry color with a fluorescent pink interior with discreet fluorescent accents on the exterior. So, I'm assuming the blue and green version is mostly fluorescent.
Brands I'd also recommend: Born, Sportiva, Ugg, Brooks

I recieved these in August and have done nothing but run trails with them. The traction is fantastic, they are very supportive and protect the side of the foot from rocks and roots. Have done 6 to 13 miles in the Trail 18 without troubles. I had to order a 1/2 size smaller than my normal running shoe.

Love, love, love his shoe. It's so super comfy. I wear my hiking shoes 12 hrs. daily and go on about 3 hikes/day. These are by far the best ones. Nice cushioning, great mid sole support. Switched from Keen and Columbia.

While the shoe is very comfortable, the color is horrible. I ordered the red ones expecting red shoes. They are not red but a horrible pink. I love the fit and comfort of these shoes, but had to send them back because of the horrible color.

I love these shoes! I hike in the mountains a lot and they are a perfect mix of comfort and traction without the bulk of a hiking boot. They are also great for just walking, biking, doing whatever.

Nice looking shoes, great grippy tread. Only problem I have with them is that the black toebox isn't as stiff as it should be and has creased over where my big toe is. If I wear thin socks it uncomfortably pushes on my toenail bed. Have to wear thicker socks with them.

This is not the cutest Adidas shoe, but my goodness, it sure is comfortable-and bright! It is like walking on clouds. Very lightweight, yet supportive, with good arch. Runs true to size, as most Adidas shoes are. Thank You Adidas!

I ended up running and hiking 10 miles in these shoes the first day I got them. That wasn't the original plan, but I found them to be great on the trail and comfortable to run and walk in. The toe box is a bit wider than other shoes in this brand, which I think is helpful in longer runs or walks.

I'm now on my third pair of Adidas's Response Trail running shoes and all have held up well for over 500 miles of running each plus some hiking. I generally run rural gravel roads and trails during all four seasons. These shoes have great traction except for when it's icy but I don't expect too much of any shoe in ice. Toe is pretty boxy, but that is a plus for me in a running shoe. Also, they have a pretty high heel for a running shoe. This doesn't bother me too much as it's kind of a trade off for such a great tread. I hate running shoes where you can feel the rocks through the sole of the shoe. That never happens with these.

Absolutely fabulous. My trail favorite, so comfy with no break in time needed. I have several foot problems and have a difficult time find a decent pair of shoes-these fit my feet perfectly! Size is true.

Love it! As a regular runner and very particular about my running shoes. For the past year, I have switched 2 pairs already because my feet hurts so much, for the first time I am now free from pain and have improved my endurance.

These shoes are very comfortable for wider feet. Unfortunately, they are too big for my narrow heels. Otherwise, these are very comfortable, and have plenty of toe room!

These shoes are very cushioned and they run wide and they are great for my very wide foot, but bad for my narrow heels. The back slips up.

Though reviewers wrote that these shoes run big, I found different. I wear a 6.5 and so I got a 6.5 as I didn't want them to be too roomy and my feet are very narrow. These shoes were too small, and that was from the beginning, before running very far at all in them. My toes were going numb after one or two miles, it was really annoying. Over the past two months I've broken them in and it's not really a problem anymore (no numbness) until my feet really start swelling around mile 6. Other than me not buying the proper size, I love these shoes! They are so perfect for running and hiking. They have great support, great padding. I tried on my old pair of shoes for .5 mile today just for kicks and my feet were in pain! So I put these babies on and I felt the pain disintegrate into loveliness.

Comfortable and sturdy - I wear them for hiking and walking, on streets and trails. Trails haven't been too rocky so not sure how they'd be on rock. They are slippery on rocks in a stream, though (I have the bruise to prove it - water shoes would be better for hiking near streams). Fits true to size, plenty of room in toe box. Cushy and firm - more supportive than all the lightweight shoes that are currently the trend, but yet not heavy. The color is GREAT.

Very comfortable! Runs slightly larger than normal, huge toe box, great support and most importantly...the look (orange in black in my case) rocks! I've received tons of compliments...giving me more reason to work out in public! Love you Zappos!

I thought this running shoe was just OK. It felt a 1/2 size larger than other shoes. Cushioning and support were good, but I think ASCIS is a better shoe. I went back to ASICS after running on this for 4 months
