This boot is sturdy enough for long, multi-day hikes and comfortable enough for short walks in the woods. It takes a few days to break them in, but my last pair lasted several years, I expect this pair to last as long.

Really nice boots. Warm, waterproof, and they look awesome. Have hiked many snow and slush covered miles in them already, and they seem like they will hold up to some serious wear and tear. They are also stylish enough so you can wear them with some jeans to trek to the store in the mud and slush without looking like you are heading out to hike Mt Everest. A bit expensive, but I am not disappointed with my purchase at all. Add Zappos unbeatable shipping and customer service and you can't go wrong.
