Shoes arrived quickly as usual with Zappos. I ordered this shoe 1/2 - 1 size larger than what I would normally wear. But I wished they had an option to choose the width since my foot was barely able to get inside. Once inside, the shoe felt 1/2 - 1 size larger than I would wear. I wore it one time, but that didn't help with the small width issue. Maybe I should have ordered the low-cut. Now I have a pair of 1-day worn shoes that I can't return and that hurts my feet.

This shoe is the real deal. If you like trail running and want the protection of ankle support this is a terrific shoe. It has a super combination of agility, stiffness, light medium weight and a good lug pattern. The lacing fit is snug, and the toe box could be a bit more box shaped. The 'waterproof' holds up to light exposure but not to a run through wet grass.

I tried them on once before I really gave them a go outdoors. I would have to say that I regret not walking in them around my house longer, because now I am stuck with them. They are too tight around my foot and cause extreme discomfort. My own fault for not being more discerning when trying them on. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone. They look cool but they do not feel good on my feet at all. BUMMER.

I got these for Christmas and love them so much that I wore them every day. The soles unfortunately wore out completely in six months.
