I've tried 2 pairs of these. They're not waterproof, but they are comfortable.

I bought these as a Vegan friendly shoe (even though Zappos does not claim Vegan, another website does). This shoe is very comfortable and feels great while walking. The traction is Great, but it is difficult to clean dead grass clippings from the aggressive tread. Both pair I tried lost waterproofing after about 50 miles of wet grass walking.
Brands I'd also recommend: I'm trying Montrail with OutDry next., because I look for non leather.
