Very comfortable shoes, snug fit, the foot feels well supported. Shoes are quite lite compared to other hiking boots. On a side note, the fit differ from the Ax1 Mid Leather model. The Mid Leather feels much wider at the ball of the foot, I prefer the snug feel of the Goretex model.

With sharp looks, understated style, these speed hiking boots fit like very comfy sneakers the very moment I first put them on. I had to do some serious walking the day after and had forgotten I was wearing boots I'd never owned before. Very excellent fit, construction. A joy to walk/hike again!

Shoes are nice -- bought for husband and myself but front of both pairs pinched feet on front outside so must return. Too bad; was otherwise a good shoe and good price.
I'd also recommend: new balance, merrell
