I was really surprised by how the shoe formed to my foot perfectly the first time I put it on. Being a retired soccer player, I long for a shoe that fit me as well and as comfortably as my cleats did. They run a little smaller than most people think, so just make sure you get the right size. Sambas offer comfortable support for your feet and ankles, and minimal breaking in annoyances. A great shoe for athletes and fashionistas alike.

These shoes are great. They were a little squeaky when I first started wearing them but once I broke them in the squeaking stopped. They are really comfortable and go just about with any outfit. They definitely are a classic and well worth the money. Fast shipping too!

I stumbled on these while looking for another pair of Sambas. Sambas have been the only sneakers I ever wear for a long time. As soon as I saw these I knew I had to get them in both white and black. I absolutely love some of the changes they made with these because they addressed the exact things that annoyed me about the regular Sambas. First off, I love the shorter tongue, which is something people tend to either love or hate on the regular Samba. Whenever I'd wear them with shorts, they just looked silly and awkward. And since I live in Florida, shorts are kind of necessary. With the short tongue, they just look so much classier and I can walk without that weird feeling of a long tongue rubbing up against the upper part of my foot. The second thing I love is the liner on the inside is leather like on soccer cleats. I kinda have a bad habit of putting on and taking off my sneakers and just leaving the laces tied. After a while it tended to ruin the fabric lining on the regular Sambas. So now I can slip these new ones on and off and never have to worry about the insides getting ruined. Also, they are much much more comfy with the leather lining. I've played soccer for a long time and these feel much closer to a pair of nice comfortable cleats. Even for anyone who doesn't play soccer, they're just about the best shoes you can wear for everyday wear. I wear mine for almost everything except for sleep. :) Overall, if anyone else out there loves Sambas as much as me but has some issues with either the tongue on the inner lining on the normal ones, then these are exactly the Sambas you've been waiting for!! Buy them!!

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. They look great, can be worn with semi-casual dress, even a sport coat and will take miles of walking. Perfect for a trip into NYC.

Great pair of shoes. I was looking for something to replace my Puma Romas, but Puma has gone too European-looking for me. So I got these and have been pleased. The sole seems better than the Pumas and the comfort is about the same - which is to say very comfortable. They are a bit tighter, but that is because the leather needs to stretch a bit. I’d recommend these to a friend and likely buy them again in 5 years.

The goal of these shoes is to mirror the popular Samba soccer shoe. In this case the construction of the shoe feels a little cheap. But once you break them in, they seem to mold to your foot and look pretty nice as well! Overall I am pretty satisfied. Now it’s just trying to keep them clean!

I've always wanted a pair of Adidas Sambas, and thanks to Zappos great selection and prices I was sold. These shoes are quite nice, but the only thing I recommend is that you wear socks with it because they make your feet sweat if you wear them without socks. Otherwise, they go great with jeans and a t-shirt and are very comfortable.

Very fast shipping! Product arrived quickly and was in excellent condition. The shoes are made of stiff leather and run a little narrow. Thus, it took a couple of days before they started to break in and become more comfortable. Now that they are, I love them! Great shoes. I would highly recommend them both for athletic and casual wear.

Beware! These are not the same Samba's we know and love. When I went to replace my old trusty Samba's I bought these not knowing they are different. They are not nearly as comfortable. Make sure you get the classic not the adidas originals. They look like sambas but that's all.

Nice shoes for light wear. They have a sort of vinyl look/feel to them and squeak when you walk. But they're very comfortable and look great with jeans.

I forgot the noise (squeak) that they make when they're still fresh! The leather version, nice color. I never had these in all black. I ordered the and they felt 1 full size smaller than I was expecting. Even after replacing it by half a size larger, it still feels very tight, compared to the Spezial (which is the same shoe, only made out of synthetic material, not leather).
