As a teenager, I loved my sambas! When I went vegan, I mourned that I could no longer buy them in good conscience since at the time, they were all leather. Lo and behold, the samba canvas! I was elated when I discovered these. Ordered the black/high energy/white ones for my birthday and couldn't be more pleased. Super comfortable, cushioned enough for walking around a lot - a great everyday shoe. Really solid color scheme, too! I normally wear a 7.5 in women's, ordered the same here and they fit true to size. Not too narrow and didn't take long to break in! So happy.

I've had these a few months now, and they're still my go-to every day shoe. Look great with a pair of jeans, skinny or baggy. Very comfy. Holds up to the samba standard.

It squeaks a bit from the tongue, and it takes two weeks to break in, but I forgive it because they look so unbelievably awesome! Seriously cool when worn with jeans, just make sure to clean the dirt off the side of the sole to keep it white.
I'd also recommend: PUMA

The shoe was for my son. who really likes the style and finds it comfortable. The service at Zappos is amazing. My son was leaving in 3 days and had time to buy a pair of shoes which he did not like, return them and get the new pair of Original Sambas before leaving with free shipping and return.

Great shoe for the money. I haven't had them long, but the canvas appears very durable. They look good and are breaking in nicely. I would avoid them if you have wide feet (I don't), because they are narrow. Very stiff out of the box. Overall, a good shoe. Not amazing, but solid.
