I just received these and am extremely disappointed. According to the tag attached to the right sneaker, the shaft and lining are synthetic and the outsole is rubber. What? I bought this thinking it was leather or at least the upper portion, anyway. The dead giveaway here is the lack of leather smell and plastic look. It's unfortunate that I will be sending them back, but they don't live up to my memory and the quality of the Stan Smith's I once wore.

These were great shoes for my bike and scooter riding 3 year old. They ran a little big, but he loved them and they lasted a long time for a kids shoe. We will buy these again.
