My son really likes his shoes. The fit was good, maybe a little on the larger size. They are stylish and look great with the new skinny and straight leg jeans for boys. They do squeak a little which is weird but overall, he is enjoying his shoes.

As of Feb. 2010, the laces on these shoes are at least 4 inches too short, which means for my 7 year old, the laces were always coming out of the lace holes. (He has to change his shoes to boots twice a day at school.) Then the laces would completely fray, which means you cannot stick the laces back through the hole. Fraying shoe laces were a huge nightmare. I returned one pair, got another, and the same thing happened within 2 weeks.

I bought these shoes for my 9 year old son for indoor soccer. He has wide feet so he liked how the leather upper stretches to fit him comfortably. He\'s really hard on his shoes. He wore them to school and over the summer when he outgrew his running shoes and they\'ve held up great. I agree with another parent, the laces are a bit short.

These are really cute shoes...and I am very picky. I got them for my 6 year old son and he loves them. He says they are very comfortable and I love the way the look on him. They are worth the money.

Very narrow, my son always been happy with Adidas Samba, but when you buy size 10½ or over they become very narrow and not as flexible as the smaller sizes.

My son loves the shoe and they look really cool with all the straight leg pants that are in style this season. I originally ordered the Samba Classics and they were too narrow, but apparently these are the Samba Originals and they fit just fine and run wider than the classics. I did read a review that they squeak a bit when walking and this is true! I think it get less and less as they wear in. All in all, cute versatile shoe.

These are great shoes! My son is a classic kid. but the old school styling keeps him cool. They fit great, hold up well and I love the red. It stands out from all the other boys.

A great looking shoe. Loved the red stripes with the traditional black Adidas background. The leather is a little stiff and needs some breaking in but didn't seem to bother my son. Also arch support and cushion is moderate to none. My 7 year old son just loves these. As a mom they seem to be a great everyday shoe.

This is a great, stylin' shoe! My son is seven and he was thrilled when these arrived the next day after I ordered them - thank you Zappos! He is wearing a 1/1.5 right now, but I ordered them in a 2 to allow for growth this summer. They fit true to size. They have a narrow, sleek Euro look to them and he tells me they are comfortable. I can't attest to their durability yet, but will keep all informed if I'm not satisfied.

Love it! My son loves these shoes. When he saw that Shia Labeouf from Transformers 2 had them for the movie, he wanted another pair. He says they are comfortable and fit perfect.

We've purchased Sambas for my soccer-loving kids ever since they were able to walk. This purchase was for my 10-year old daughter who still loves them. She is now playing Futsal which is in a gym and requires no-skid soles. These are perfect for that, for indoor and for just casual wear.
