I have only tried these shoes on inside but the front part near the last lace hole rubs against my foot and causes extreme irritation.

Great shoe. Excellent grip, feels solid. I'll definitely get these again. I play tennis 6-8 hours per week and these are excellent for what I need. I've tried the top of the line Asics, New Balance, Nike and others and I have found these to be the best. Not cheap, but they seem to be durable.

The arch is high in this model so it is not for the flat footed. The sizing is almost a full size off, as it common with Adidas. I wear a 11½ and sometimes a 12, but I needed a 12½ in this model. The sneakers are very comfortable and appear to be well made with good materials. And they look pretty snazzy. But, again, steer clear if you do not like high arch support.

I have achilles tendinitis and a chronically sprained left ankle, so I was in the market for some shoes that were made to help the body move/stand correctly. I was willing to pay the extra bucks to ensure I got a nice pair of shoes that not only look good, but actively help my conditions. The sides stick out a bit more than other shoes (tennis shoes = lateral movement) which really helps me from spraining my ankle again; also my achilles tendon is almost healed up now due to the great support and comfort these shoes offer (along with some orthotics).

I purchased these shoes and had to return them because the left shoe had an extremely high arch that felt like a rock. The right shoe was fine. The second pair I ordered had the same defect. The two shoes were visibly different on the soles upon examination with the left shoe having a bumpy protrusion on the medial part of the sole. These shoes should be recalled.
I'd also recommend: Adidas and Asics are my favorites. This shoe just has issues.
