Acorn Kids Tex Moc (Toddler/Youth) SKU #7267035(View on Zappos.com Classic)

I wear a womens 7, but the womens slipper I wanted was out of stock, so I thought I'd look at the youth slippers because I know that I could fit some youth shoes (womens and kids overlap a few sizes). At first I was a little put off by the moc because what I had been using for slippers for the past 10 years weren't actually slippers; they had a top high enough to cover my ankle bones, and they were at least a half size too big. I got a youth 4-5 size and it just barely fit and I was a little worried about it being that snug. Then I remembered to keep an open mind because my former "slippers" were too big and a bit tall. Within the first evening of wearing the Tex Mocs I forgot all about them being so snug and found them quite comfortable and cushy. It's like there's a brand new thick carpet built in to the bottom (if you remember what new carpet feels like). The Blue Surf color I got is a little less adult than what I usually go for, but it's different and cool. It catches the eye and that's what I like, even if it doesn't necessarily match anything.

Acorn Kids textured moc - I have a pair--that I bought in a store. My 8 year old loved mine so much that I ordered a pair for her. She loves them. My only comment is that they are very large--my foot is a size 6 1/2--and her size 2-3 fit me. I wanted them large--she is really a 1--maybe it is not bad--she can wear them for a long time--she loves them in any case. They are really soft and comfortable.
