Bought one pair for each of my 2 kids. Will buy again, I think. Have a rubber sole and synthetic fleece top.

My granddaughter wouldn't take the slippers off even though we felt they just fit! She loved them that much. So we kept them and I also ordered a larger pair. When I couldn't find the next size, I ordered 2 sizes bigger and they were way too big. Returning was a breeze. Then when I tried again to find the size I needed, I was told I could be notified when the size became available. Well, that was the next day and all I had to do was click 'yes' and they were ordered. Boy am I impressed!

My daughter, nearly 4 years old, loves these, as do I. The sole truly is non-slip (as opposed to some Stride-Rite slippers I bought that had a thin layer of fabric over the rubber and were truly hazardous on our hardwood floors). The area around the top of the foot and ankle is not overly snug, so she doesn't complain of pain there (as she did with the Stride Rites). One bit of advice: buy one size larger than you'll need. My daughter wears a size 8, and the 8-9's were snug. I bought the 9 -10's and: Bingo. They stay on her feet but she still has room to grow. This company chooses recyclable and biodegradable packaging material, too, and the boxes are sturdy enough to use as mailing boxes. A plus.

This pair is the third pair of Acorn Kids slippers my daughter has had. She loves them. She likes how easy they are to take on and off, loves the cushy feel of the sole and the soft fleece for her bare feet. I got her a different brand of slippers (from Zappos) to keep at work for the days she comes here after school. But the Acorns are her favorite. I'm happy they wash well and after she outgrew the first two pair, I put them through the washer before passing them on to another child. The suede went through the washing machine just fine. They look almost new in spite of being heavily worn.

This is our second pair. They're soft, instantly comfortable, wash well and as we have wood and stone floors the non-slip pad on the bottom is essential. I'm surprised at how many kids' slippers don't have this feature. My 6 year old loves them and we'll buy them again next year as well - nice and cozy for the chilly floors.
