Great arch support. Excellent cushioning in the heel area for heel to toe running. Padding around the ankle was not the best. The insufficient padding allowed the shoe to slip a little while breaking it in. Overall good running shoe.

Always Mizuno -
After years of trying to find a good running show for my size 15 feet I'm sticking with Mizuno Alchemy. I've been wearing these shoes for the past 3 years and have found them to be an excellent shoe, I also weigh over 240lbs and they stand up to my 25 miles per week training...a great stability shoe (I also wear them with the"superfeet" insole for extra protection).

Good shoe for bigger runners -
I'm a little larger than many runners (6'2", 195 lbs), and I overpronate some. This shoe was recommended to me after I had some foot pain issues (squished nerves between 2nd and 3rd metatarsals). I started using this shoe and the pain went away. That made this my new running shoe.

Great running shoe for moderate pronator -
I run about 3-5 miles a day 5-6 days a week. I was previously using Brooks Adrenaline 8 shoes and really liked them but decided to try something in the motion control category so I tried these shoes. I really like the extra support that they provide, I am not flat footed but do have somewhere between a normal and low arch. They're well cushioned and supportive.

I don't particularly like the look, but its super comfortable for walking and running, and flexible and breathable enough on the top that you don't feel it during the day.

This shoe works -
After trying three other shoes, this shoe worked for me. No injuries since. Have trained and run numerous races including two half marathons. After approx 400 mi I just got another pair. Great shoe, good comfort & the old ones still look fairly new on top.
