I ordered these boots yesterday in black and they showed-up at my door in less than 24 hours. The boot is gorgeous and true to size as I own several pair of Dansko clogs. As both a cyclist and racewalker, I did not have any issue with my calf fitting into the boot and there is even room for some manual adjustment. This boot is not particularly narrow and fits very well in the front, even as I tried them on in sports socks. If anything, the ankle area could be just slightly narrower, so I am not sure why some people are reporting that this boot runs narrow. I should be able to walk outside at length right away and look forward to wearing them.

Dansko Nevada: Sexy! These boots looked stunning on. Wearable/walkable stacked heel, upper emphasizes slender leg curves. Sadly, I have a wide foot & had to return these due to front / toe box area being way to narrow & flat. Boots just completely squished my toes & entire front of my foot. I've always worn a 40 in Dansko's, with plenty of room to spare in clog width & length. These boots were more than plenty long enough in the foot, but just extremely narrow in the front so that they were intolerable (painful when on). But they really looked fab; are likely perfect for narrow foot.

Awesome boot, wish I had them in all colors. I love this boot! I have never found a pair of boots that will fit my calf muscles. These are great! The leather is so soft it feels like it's my skin, very breathable, and comfortable all day. The heel is great, is rubber and low so I can spend all day in these. The style is awesome; I like the kind of riding look. Only thing I wish is that they had them in black and brown where I got them!

I was disappointed in this boot. I am a big Dansko fan. The style is very cute and the boots are comfortable to wear, but the leather looks and feels cheap. Definitely not worth this price. Alas, I am sending these back.

Thank God I read the other reviews & got a size up. I am definitely size 37, but got 38. They fit perfect. I bought another Dansko shoe at the same time, the same style heel, the shoe Norah in 38. I had to send them back; they were too big. My point is the boot runs smaller in size. I love the color, light oiled tan, & they were less money! The style is really detailed, zipper, straps, leather throughout. Best of all it has a pleat at the top that is adjustable, so it can be made wider at the calf of the leg. I am also 5 ft so it fits just right on my leg. Good luck with yours.

I was so incredibly excited to get my first pair of Dansko boots. I own 12 pairs of Dansko clogs/other shoes. The boots are very cute, I wanted the Tyra, but after reading reviews that they were super-narrow in the calf, I opted for the Nevada. I am NOT a large person and I'm petite in stature, but I am a runner/cyclist with massive calves, ankle bones, etc. From the reviews, it sounded like this was the perfect pair of boots. I was so excited when they came. I have been looking for boots for 3 years and finally...finally they were here. I could throw away my super old, falling apart black boots. The foot part of the boot was superb, just like a Dankso clog. I barely zipped the boot around my ankle, and I couldn't get them zipped much past it. I am still incredibly disappointed in the fact that these boots did not fit me. If you have large bones and muscular calves and you can't typically fit into most commercially available boots by a few inches, these are not the boots for you. I thought of losing any weight possible? Even a pound or two, anything to wear these boots! Alas, my bones won't get any smaller. I will be returning these boots. I purchased a pair of the Naot Illusion boots and they just barely (but nicely) fit.

Great boot! This is a great boot! I can wear them in the snow and ice in the mountains where I live without feeling like I am teetering on a skinny heel, yet they are still stylish and feminine. I am a US 6.5 and ordered the 37, which fits perfectly and is not too tight on my calves - which is a rare find with my runners/cyclist calves!

Pros and Cons - These are great looking boots. The heel is a perfect height and the treads on the sole give me a sense of security on the icy streets of the northeast. BUT the toe box is a little tight; the bunion on my right foot hurts when I wear the boots. I purchased these with the Tyra but decided to keep the Nevada because the heel was a tad shorter and the soles were better for ice. The Tyra felt like heaven on my foot, though.

Amazing quality - I bought these to wear to the office but ended up wearing them everywhere. They broke in beautifully and are stylish and incredibly comfortable. Look equally good with jeans, a nice skirt and blouse in the office or dressed up for going out. Very versatile.

Sharp looking boot - It was hard to decide on a color because it is such a gorgeous boot. This boot has the usual Dansko foot, good arch, enough room in the toes. I like that the upper calf part can expand (via elastic & buckle) to fit various size calves. My only complaint -- if the heel was just a 1/2 inch or inch lower, it would be so much more comfortable and I would probably wear them every day in winter. As it is, it just feels too high and I'm glad to take them off at the end of the day. Not sure yet how they perform in snow or ice.

Reluctantly returned - I loved this boot, but after ordering 3 different pairs I gave up. The dye on them was everywhere, including the box they came in. I took them to a shoe repair and he said they could possibly be polished to contain the problem but I wasn't willing to take a chance and spend more money on an already expensive pair of boots. Very disappointed because they are exactly what I wanted and I thought Dansko was a reputable company. Good for medium sized calf.

Nice boot, but the calf is tight even with adjusting the buckle, if you have muscular calves. The heel seems higher or steeper and the ball of the foot needs more padding. I'll exchange it.

Style and comfort! I wore these boots the day they arrived. They are so comfortable. I was looking for a stylish riding boot in tan (most are black or dark brown) and these did not disappoint! Great look and color for fall for those of you that follow the latest trends. Not only do they look fabulous and are comfortable, I get loads of compliments! I have small to average calves and they are a perfect fit, not "baggy" like some riding boots, as a riding boot should be "fitted."
