Great shoe for walking, relaxing, everyday life. I would never run in these purely because I think you would roll your ankle easily because they hit right below your ankle. The Lego pattern on the bottom is comfortable, though I changed the insole out with memory foam ones which makes a world of difference for me since I'm flat footed. One of my favorite New Balance shoes besides the U455, though I think I like the U455s because they run wider. These shoes run pretty true to size, but can be snug at first as any shoe can, though after a week of wearing, they'll fit perfect.

The good: These shoes have a nice classic, simple look to them. They are extremely light, one of the lightest shoes I have ever owned. They seem like they breathe quite well, too. The bad: Virtually no arch support. Pull out the insole and have a look at it yourself. It's super thin and nothing but a bend in it passed for "arch support". The foot bed is also flat so there is certainly no support there. I had a cramp in my arch within 5 minutes of wearing them. I strongly suggest replacing the insole. As mentioned in other reviews, note the bottoms are a bit slick even though the pattern is knobby.

These shoes look way cool (I have the black with neon yellow), but provide no arch or heel support whatsoever. The durability is also total crap. The discs on the bottom wore down within a month, and they came apart to the point that they were essentially unwearable in about three months. Do not buy them.

Decent, well built shoe. Cool, retro look! True to fit but sadly not a shoe for the big man. If you have weak arches and are over 250 this is not the shoe for you. Not strong enough in the support area for keeping your ankle from rolling.

Awful shoe. Very uncomfortable and not good for walking at all. I was shocked by how slick these were on wet surfaces, and wouldn't recommend these to anyone who wants support when walking. They run very small and are very narrow at the front of the shoe. I had to return these as I could hardly walk in them without suffering a lot of discomfort.

Awesome shoes - I have always liked new balance shoes and typically I buy them for running. This purchase, however, was more for casual style and I am very impressed with them. Unlike Converse (chuck taylors) and old-school vans, these actually have support and you can walk, stagger, jog, and skip with your friends without waking up the next morning with collapsed arches and blisters on your heels. The color is a bit lighter than what is shown (a little more of a light gray/blue...still very cool.

New Balance -- Great Purchase - The shoe is very comfortable and moderately priced. I've gotten several compliments. The order arrived on time as promised. I will purchase from Zappos again in the future.

Eh, these are ok - These shoes fit pretty well and are rather comfy after the first few wears. However, the upper material is some sort of canvasy-cardboardy feeling junk, that just looks and feels really cheap. If the upper was made of something a bit nicer, these would be great shoes.

These shoes are great - These shoes look sharp! I love them now, but when they arrived, the color didn’t match the pictures on Zappos. I orded the black/yellow ones, but they're actually neon green. No complaints really, the green looks great. The only thing I don’t care for is the narrowness of the heel. I wouldnt advise running in these, but they make great casual shoes.

Great shoe, excellent service from Zappos - This shoe is great. Lightweight, comfy, and a nice look. It fits like a glove, and it has a soft feel and good support without being ugly or bulky. Better still was the really prompt and free shipping from Zappos. All my shoes are coming through Zappos from now on.

These are great shoes. Comfortable, light-weight, classic look. Wouldn't recommend actually running in them, but they're perfect for walking around town. My only complaint is that the outsole, while neat looking, offers dangerously little traction on a wet floor. I've slipped more than once in them. Other than that I love them. they're holding up surprisingly well.

I love these shoes; they are extremely comfortable and very stylish. My only concern is the material that they are made from. While being lightweight and attractive, I wonder how well it will hold up. All else aside, a great buy.

M410 surpasses expectations - I purchased the M410 because it looks super cool and retro. It turned out to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I haven’t worn any other pair of shoes since I bought them. I wear them to the office, hiking, and just about anywhere else. Their fabric material keeps them nice and dirt-free and they have an excellent grip on the bottom surface. A+ as far as I'm concerned.

Nice retro running shoe - I have been pleased with my purchase. This is a good looking retro running shoe. I've only had them for a couple weeks and they've broken in nicely. They don't have much support, so I wouldn't consider them for long runs.

Baller - These shoes are great! Not only are they retro. They are extremely light weight, it feels like I'm not wearing any shoes at all.

I loved the look of this shoe when I saw it (I got the blue/yellow), especially the minimal design and color scheme. But when I got it, I just didn't like the blue, I thought it was too pale or had a faded look. Either way I didn't think it would look good on me. I also didn't really like the material, which is synthetic suede and a light, foamy material, I just didn't like the feel. Other than that, it was comfortable and fit fine. It was a bit narrow for me but I'm used to wider running shoes. It was really light and felt like I was walking on air.

Not a bad shoe for the price - The shoe looks as it does in the picture, but in the light has a slight blue-ish tone instead of black. My feet are a little wide, so it feels a little snug, but I'm sure for most people it would run true to the size. Feels GREAT the first week or so but loses its new feeling real fast.

Give 'em a break - Look great, but had a glue "lump" under the not-so-soft insole right between my heel and the arch. After a short break in period and a new insole the rubber has loosened up and they feel pretty good.

Love it - This was the second thing I ordered from Zappos, I ordered it at 7:45pm and once again was amazed that I had my order the next day, I don't even know how it's possible, and best of all it was with the free shipping. These shoes are great, light weight, great looking and super comfortable. I don't know why I’d go anywhere else, Zappos is the best!
