My husband is very picky about shoes. He had purchased a pair of Keens previously and fell in love. We were not able to find a retail store around us. I suggested to go online to your web site. He did and was excited there was not a shipping charge. The shoes arrived a few a days later and now he's happy camper and a believer in Zappos online. By the way, he is telling all his friends!

I'm a huge fan of Keen shoes, starting with the Bronx. The Bandon is OK--outstanding traction, but with several irritating problems. The heel fits loose, so my foot slides around (I always wear thick socks). Oddly, the footbed gets very warm and my foot starts to sweat. I can't wear the shoe for more than a few hours. My other Keens I can wear all day and do. One other problem: the shoe laces are insanely long--no matter how I tie them, either the lace ends or the bows drag on the ground. Makes me feel like a little kid with his shoes laces dragging. What were they thinking?

Comfortable walking shoe! Bought specifically to replace a pair of Columbia's in preparation for a week of walking around Rome. Results were great! My wife is not too fond of the look and I have to admit the shoe makes your feet look a bit like Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble. Hence, the slight markdown in style and overall rating. All that said I like the look and the comfort. I would buy them again. Cheers!

Good looking and comfy, but not real comfy shoe.
First pair of Keen shoes. Takes a bit of getting used to the blunt-toed look of these walkers. In any case, the shoe fits great and feels comfortable on the soles of my feet. Only problem is the way the shoe laces up. When I tie the shoe for a snug fit, the laces dig into the top of my foot through the one-piece tongue. The pressure can be painful unless I tie them up a bit looser than I would prefer.

Good shoe, but not as successful as other Keens -
I agreed with the other comment(s) about the heel cup being too small. The other Keens that I have feel great, but these wear a bit on the heel. Hopefully this will get better as the shoe breaks in. Also, I'm having a problem with shoelace wear. I have already gone through 3 pairs of laces in a month! Not sure if the grommets are defective or just the design puts too much stress on the laces.

Great Street Hiker!
I purchased these shoes to use specifically during a week long vacation in Europe. They were instantly comfortable and excellent for walking around and touring. They are a bit strange looking, but nice enough. I wish they were a bit more breathable, but they are waterproof so this isn't unusual. Great shoe and likely worth the money since I will take good care of them! These are my second pair of Keens as I purchased the canvas version of the Briggs before. I have been looking for a good time to try Keen again and this time I am not disappointed.

This is a great shoe! Tons of support and comfort! Will be buying another pair in a different color. Buy one size up for a perfect fit. Be ready to replace the laces, they only lasted a couple weeks.

Great Shoe!!
I just received my shoes, and they are great!! Extremely comfortable and light. The heel is a little lower than what I'm use to, but it doesn't bother me that much. Look is slightly different, but overall I really like this shoe.

A Little Different -
This is my 6th pair of Keens, and I must say, probably my least favorite. As other reviewers have noted, the heel cup doesn't come up as far as I would like, and it just doesn't cradle the foot as well as other styles. That said, it's still the 6th most comfortable pair of shoes I own.

Be aware of size -
I have owned Keen sandals before and they have been my footwear of choice all summer long. They are very comfortable and long lasting. These seem as if they will become my winter footwear of choice. Buyers should order a 1/2 size larger than normal as Keens do run small.

A shoe that's true to size, is lightweight, great for wider feet and has a durable toe. For me, they're comfortable enough to wear all day without thinking about my shoes. I have six pairs of various Keens and they have all been great.

Great Comfy Shoe -
This is about my 10th pair of Keens and these don't disappoint. They are comfortable and great for colder weather. I would suggest perhaps purchasing a half size up as these run a pinch small. I can walk around in these all day and my feet are comfortable and toasty. Best thing is they already have that 'broken in' feel to them. Thanks again Keen and a big props to Zappos for their excellent customer service.

Great Shoe -
I bought these shoes for my husband for our trip out to Seattle, Washington. These shoes were great. They are waterproof and extremely comfortable. There is no break in time required. They are a bit ugly but if you are not a vain person and want a quality built and well performing shoe...this is the shoe that works. I highly recommend them. We went hiking, walking all over Seattle; through water, snow, etc. They preformed excellent.

Although they seem to slip out of your feet, at first, it actually takes a matter of getting used to. Do not walk through snow or high water! Otherwise they are comfortable and warm.

Love my keens but the low top is taking time to get used to!
I have had four pairs of keen's shoes. These are definitely the most durable and utilitarian of the three. The gusseted tongue is great and the full lace up is really nice. The lowness of the top of the shoe can feel a little interesting. It doesn't slip but it comes across the top/middle of the ball of the heel and it doesn't really cup the heel like I like. I would definitely buy another pair of these shoes though.

Another pair of Keens -
Finding a comfortable, good fitting shoe can be a bit challenging for me. I weight 200 lbs, have medium to low arches and in athletic shoes I wear an 11 1/2 EE. I tried on a different pair of Keens in my size, in a store but this pair in the same size felt a bit smaller so I got a size 12, which seems a touch big. I was looking for a casual shoe that looked like a 'work' shoe - big, comfortable, thick sole and would be able to take some abuse. This one certainly fits that bill. It is unusual looking in a good way, it's comfortable and looks like it will hold up.

This the 5th Keen style I have tried and the best so far. I wear these to work in a tire store I manage. I am on my feet 12-14 hours a day and go home with no foot soreness. The laces to the toe area allow for proper support for my whole foot without being too tight. GREAT SHOE.

Keen's Bandon Lace WP The Best -
Unlike other reviews I found these to fit true to size marked. Good wide box toe and great support. These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time. Great hybrid shoe from office to outdoors. They look great too.
